News post for Labour signs for 37 weeks +++ ladies

Hey Ladies,

I hope your all feeling ok today - god these last few weeks really kill don't they?

I feel soooooo big!!!

Has anyone else noticed that nausea/morning sickness symptoms have returned since 37 weeks plus? I seem to feel pukey alot now, most days in fact.

Had a clearout this morning but no more plug, BH's etc....just LO sitting on a nerve in my ass that keeps making my leg go and headbutting my cervix which feels like a thousand knives being rammed into my fanjita!!!


OUT BABY OUT! I dont wanna be preggo anymore it hurtses! I can't cope with the possibility of another 4 weeks!!!

well what a night I had!!
From 11pm was getting contractions every 8mins, after a few hours they were 6 mins and at 4am when they were coming every 5mins I rang the labour ward. The midwife was lovely and told me to try to wait at home as long as possible, until i was really uncomfy or they were 3 mins apart.
They carried on at 5 mins then went back to 6 mins, then i fell asleep at 7am and woke up at 8.45am a bit disheartened, but then they started again coming every 6mins!! then at about 12noon, they stopped!! I am soo frustrated and upset, and very tired too!!!

I want baby to come out now

good luck kerry, hope this is is for you I've been having period pains all day and my ankles are HUGE!

Cleo - I've noticed the sickness has come back, thought we escaped it once 12 weeks had past, didn't think it came back!

I'm really fed up and uncomfortable now, just want my baby!

Hi girls

Hope you had good weekends! I went shopping for nursing bras but surprise surprise, couldn't find any in a 36G So I'm going to have to spend £40 on 2 bras from John Lewis, which will probably fit for a month and then I'll have to buy more I hate having big boobies!!!

On the subject of boobies, mine have begun to seep more colostrum in the last few days....don't know if this is a sign of labour, but must be a sign that baby will be here soon....so that's positive I guess

Nothing much else to report.....aside from a bit of a dodgy tummy a little while ago...

Come on baba, I'm ready for you now!

Riot Grrrl - Hope you have some signs soon, I'm fed up now at 37 weeks so goodness knows how you must be feeling at 39!

Claire... M&S should have a 36G in... if not they will have it on thier website.

Ive not posted on this thread for a while as nothing new has happened after last weeks "engaged/not engaged" farce. Got midwife appointment today so will see what she says... not holding my breath for exciting news though. Maybe im just being miserable coz im not sleeping very well at all so getting more & more tired as the days pass.... when will this little one arrive?!?!

I have had absolutley nothing since yesterday morning, I cant believe how adament I was that baby was coming on Saturday night, it has depressed me now

Have been aching since 9pm last night, went to bed and it got lots worse had lots of period pains cramps and back ache couldnt get comfy and it carried on all night, finally got about 2 hours sleep and got up this morning and had a bath for 2 hours!!! But now since got out of bath everything seems to of died down, get an occasional twinge but nothing much, been busy bouncing on my ball. Really hoping this might be the start.

I've been having loads of period pains and strong tightenings but thats it, nothing else. I'm actually starting to wish pain on myself now!

seems we are all fed up but patiently waiting.

I went in the shower and noticed some of the skin on the tips of my nipples have really sort of budded and become yellow ish when I washed them it got rid of alot of dead yellowing skin in between the tips and Im deffo leaking, Im excited as didnt have leakage before DS and breast fed really well so hoping will do again this time.

LO is really quiet lately

Have recieved my appointment to set induction date today for 25/9/08- next thursday!! I know its not actually induction date but something to look forward to!

I've lost some more of my plug! It was only a tiny bit though. It was like a creamy blob and sort of jelly like Sorry everyone if thats TMI!

I'm not sure if I had a clearout last night or not, as I haven't been to the loo at all today Never mind, maybe it was something I ate....even though I ate completely normally on Saturday and Sunday so it makes no sense at all

No other signs here...no BH's, nothing! I noticed that my bump has seriously dropped though (see Tummy Pics thread, just added some pics to it) so I hope that means little miss is heading down!

Had dodgy tummy again just now...starting to doubt if it is a clearout or whether I have some sort of bug I don't feel sick or anything though....I have a MW appointment on Thursday so I will mention it to her then anyway.

kerryp: Thanks - I just ordered a set of 2 36G bras on M&S website. Bloody hope they fit!!! I hate having such big boobies, I really do

Hey girls-Nothing to report from me,not even a braxton hick-but am so chuffed i became an auntie today, as my brother and his wife had a little boy!!! It's made me even more impatient,i really want labour to start!

well once again my MW says baby is engaged... she reckons the consultant was playing with its hsoulders & not its head when he said it wasnt & told me he should know better than to tell me back to back isnt more painful as hes married to a midwife Then she preceeded to tell me it wasnt back to back anyway..... little sod is lying sideways so EVEN BIGGER part of head to get out! Hey ho.
She said all i was missing was the clearout of my bowels as ive been loosing bits of my plug for about 3 weeks now & today my BH's were knocking me sick (although they have calmed down now).
My dad reckons baby will arrive soon now as he dropped off our pram at the house today (him & mum have been keeping it at theirs until now due to it bad luck to have it at ours?!) so now we have everything we need except the baby. He said when he said that i came that night (at 33weeks ).
Heres hoping it comes soon as i hate not being able to be comfy!
Fingers crossed for all you guys showing more signs.... maybe we can have another baby boom on here soon
