I am already sick of people asking if there are any signs yet, I am now ignoring my phone

Aww hun, i did exactly the same!! Peopke you havnt talked to for years suddenly become interested and most of them dont bother with asking how you ar first just come stright out with "have you popped yet"

Theres SOOOO many people overdue now! theres gotta be a huge baby boom this week!!!

Its annoying isnt it, facebook is the worst culperate people I havent spoken to for ages and have hooked up with keep asking, I hate being the centre of attention so I am finding it all very difficult. I was exactly the same in the run up to my wedding and just ended up screaming at everyone ha ha, there is definately alot of people waiting on bump to arrive now, whens the next full moon???

July 18th my LMP date (which I'm sure is more correct then the scan date of the 12th which has been and gone)!

No signs really, was up at 4.30 because I had been getting up to wee every half an hour since 1.00. Going to bed has become the worst part of my day, I just can't sleep at all. I get tightenings whenever I move in bed for some reason which are very annoying.

I can sympathise with you First Baby White on the whole 'are there any signs' thing. When Oh went to work yesterday people were asking if I'd had the baby, he said he felt like telling them 'yes, she did but I just thought I'd leave her and my first born to check my work e-mails' I know they mean well but it's quite annoying, we will tell them if the baby arrives- it won't be a secret!

I'm pinning my hopes on the 18th now.

i know what you mean, but its even more annoying when people ask you "havent you dropped it yet" i cannot stand it when people say that!!!! i am not planning on "dropping" my baby and he is not an "it". and they can see that he hasnt been born due to me having a huge tum still and no baby in sight!!
but now ive taken to saying, "yes he was born last week but he wouldnt stop crying so i put him back for a bit longer"
i think they realise that im pee'd off with em keep askin stupid questions now
another thing that winds me up is the fact that family members who dont normally take any notice whatsoever, have now decided to take notice and say "oh can you have him on such and such a day cos its easier for me im off work"

My SIL said if you go into labout at the weekend her and her boyfriend will come up straight away and visit.

I have emphasised that I want the first visitors to be both sets of Grandparents and they are to walk into the room at the same time (my in-laws live about 15 mins from the hospital, whilst my parents live 1.5 hours from the hospital)

I also told my SIL I think I want a rest before seeing anyone!

My DH boss rang last night and said if I don't have the baby soon it will come out wearing a satchel!

Eugh tell me about it! i know just what you mean.

My mum thinks shes going to be there as does the MIL, my mum thinks shes visiting next day with my stepdad and sister with flowers cards etc, when ive already told her i just want to be left alone and have no visitors. some people really do think it is a show!!

Hi

Just seen the midwife and am booked in for a sweep next Tuesday. LO is still 2/5 engaged and I said I hadn't lost my plug or had a bloody show and she said may be I won't and my waters will just go.

She asked me if I wanted her to examine me and I said well according to my LMP dates I'm due the 18th but the scan date was the 12th so we agreed not to bother (and I didn't tell her this, but we had rumpy pumpy last night and although I have showered and washed again before I saw her I felt a bit grossed out that she would know)

She said with 1st pregnancies it is usually 41 weeks, so bring on next Tuesday!

I told her that my rash and itching is getting unbearable so she has tested me for the liver thingy, a bit late now as it has been going on since 35 weeks!

feeling exactly the same was using clary sage oil and im convinced it was giving me tightenings that came to nothing so gave it a miss last night and slept like a log.

a friend of mine read the T leaves last night and she reckons im having a boy on thursday i hope this is the case. wierd thing was, before i spoke to her, i dreamt i had a boy on thursday, day after my birthday loooool

how can you celebrate your birthday when you are too scared to go far in case things start? phone ringing constantly with folk wondering how things are. tres annoying when you have just put your head down for a cat nap. phone is switched off now lol, hope they will forgive me

Good luck too, I don't reckon I'l be much befoer next week. I've a sweep next Monday so I'm hoping that'll get things moving. I wonder if the tea leaves will be correct?!?!?! That would be very weird if they were, I might be visiting your mate if you pop on Thursday

Had MW today for hopefully my last appt!!

im measuring at 37weeks so hopefully he's not gonna be too big! she suggested rasp leaf tea, so now im starting to try rasp leaf tea capsules and pineapple juice. really hope something happens soon!!

ooh just been to the toilet....had slight greeny discharge (sorry tmi) could it maybe be plug? had this for a few days last week too tho

I went for my hospital appt today to check on the baby (im 10 days overdue). They checked the amniotic fluid levels around baby and baby's heartrate. Everything was fine.

Im going into hospital tomorrow to be induced!!!!!!

Starting to get really nervous now. They have asked me to come in at 7:30pm so hopefully il have the baby by thurs.

Cant believe its actually happening!!! Im so excited now.

Got a bloody show

Not sure if I have trickling waters too, I'm going to keep an eye on it for another couple of hours. Lots of period pains too. Arghhhhh this could be it!

Plug has now started to go, some mild pains.

I had two big pains on monday, three on tuesday so the aim for taoday is four big pains.

at this rate i would prob deliver at the end of August!
