Had a sweep done yesterday. Midwife is hoping that I'll have popped by Monday.... so am i!

I got some bump pains an hour ago but nothing since then. I am about to get myself comfortable on the couch, ewan is ordering an indian for dinner so I am going for something really spicy in the hopes that sets things off. Oh and I went for a nice long walk today as well. Come on Aimee, get your lil butt into gear and come out now!

Moofa reporting in.

All night had period pains and felt sick and windy

Had a really bad pain this morning and went to the loo and had an upset tummy worst then normal.

Now I have really bad tummy ache and period pains but no contractions. Tiny bit of knicker snot earlier but nothing since oh and fantiga pains going round Waitrose.

How's everyone else?

I am getting REALLY fed up now. I have no idea how all those overdue ladies must me feeling!

Just been getting the regular period-like pains, really bad fanjita stabbings and some bump tightenings. Ewan is convinced that my bump is looking lower down and I'll admit I can breath a little bit easier today. I feel drained, I just want to lie down and rest today. I had to force myself to eat a bagel with cheese earlier on, it felt like a massive chore just eating it.

Only thing to look forward to is the Grand Prix tomorrow. I shall be watching even if I am labour!

keep having vivid dreams im in labour, and wake up remembering im not....its depressing!!! xx

I've had a rough night of pains every 30-40 minutes. Also I feel a MASSIVE pressure on my pelvic bone which hasn't helped with the SPD but hopefully that is a sign she is on her way... after the Grand Prix that is or I can see myself in labour in the back of my dads car screaming 'who's in the lead?!'

My dad is picking up a very cute pink chest of drawers from Argos in an hour for all of Aimee's cute clothes , so Ewan and I are going to build them up. Maybe that will encourage lil madam to come out soon and see all her wonderful things! One can wish!

Ok, pains have stopped may be a bit of knicker snot this morning. DH doing his best but I said no last night, too tired and won't tonight as I am due for my sweep tomorrow.

Really hoping the hospital will ring and bring my induction forward from this coming Saturday or that the sweep works.

How is everyone else?

I've started getting ocassional cramps and last night I had a terrible stabbing pain in the ribs in my back... Not sure if that part is a sign but it is definitely new! I'm also carrying my baby noticeably lower. I have my midwife appointment tomorrow, finally (first one in five weeks!) so hopefully I will know more. I know I most likely have AGES to go, but I'm excited to be able to post in here!

I can't believe you haven't had a MW appointment for 5 weeks!!!! she should be seeing you at least every 2 weeks now.

I haven't had any labour signs yet Haven't even had a whiff of a Braxton Hicks contraction! Hoping that it'll all happen quickly once it starts. Maybe baby is waiting for me to get my hospital bag packed....better go do that now!

Bubalu- I know! I had one at 32 weeks and was supposed to have one at 34, but since I mentioned wanting to have a homebirth she decided my next one should be at home and the earliest she could do that was at 36... Then she cancelled that at the last minute ("Oh, you know how it is with summer holidays and people being off blah blah..." umm, no actually, I don't) so now I'm having it at 37. So I missed my 34 and 36 and was supposed to have one at 37 anyway. Three appointments in one!

Also, they haven't checked my urine since 28 weeks! I'm worried about that.

I was getting proper contractions every 20 minutes, OH actually phoned his work and told them he wasn't coming in to stay with me today but they have eased off to 30 minutes now! REALLY tempted to drink Castor Oil to get her moving! Due date tomorrow though... eek!

went for a growth scan today. baby weighs eight pounds eleven at the moment. she is very low down and loads and loads of hair..she is amazing! lots ofpressure in my pelvic area as well..and on saturday i had a lot of stabbing pains but unfortunately they stopped on sunday.

Had mild contractions yesterday evening for an hour, but not as bad as Saturday's. Had some more, but tiny, knicker snot this morning. Having my sweep later so lets hope if she can do it, labour starts soon!
