I should get an induction date tomorrow which seems a bit extreme. I think they hope it shocks you into labour. I've just been thinking that OH and I are very punctual so I'm guessing any child we made will be too so hopefully he/ she will be on time- I very much doubt it though.

FBW- I haven't got a direct MW number either. I just take my pick from the list of number I have got and then phone them until someone starts talking some sense.

Morning girls

Yesterday I had this really bad pain in my left side which went from my hip to the bottom of my bra, don't know if that could be a sign or just general aches and pains? Had it for abit this morning too but it's gone now. Anyway, back to yesterday, I went to bed for a lie down to try and ease the pain but then I got period pains in the bottom of my bump and the bottom of my back. Been feeling quite sick for few days too. Nearly forgot to mention that when I got out of bed yesterday morning my bump seems to of dropped.

What do you think?

I still haven't packed my hospital bag yet

nothing new to report, had midwife this morning and they still think 2/5 engaged same as at 36 weeks (i disagree feels lower now thatn it did two weeks ag).

More pains last night, but then went to bed and nothing.

LO still has active spurts, but things have been slighlty quieter.

my LO has been quieter over the past few days, im now just getting elbowed and kneed every so often!

ive also been getting "stabby pains" down there a few times a day over the last few days, anyone had this?its quite sore!!! i really want him to come soon!!!!

Just back from appointment. Sweep wasnt as bad as I expected.
Really hope it works!! If I havnt had baby by next thursday, iv to go in for an induction.
Really dont want that though, had an emergancy section last time so they will only give it 12 hours then straight for another section.

Ahhh, the famous fangita stabbings! I've been getting them for weeks but they've gotten worse over the past few days. Maybe things are starting for us?

Nothing really to report! Been getting stabbing pains in my fanjita every now and then! Baby feels really low but my bump still looks high so no idea, maybe midwife is right about big baby

Had a sweep Tues..... nothing happened!

Had to go hosp yest as LO's movements slowed right down and midwife there said she would do another sweep if i wanted (after checking LO was ok). So she gave me another sweep bout 8pm last night. She said cervix was soft and 2cm dilated whcih is a good sign but was still very posterior.

Still no signs that that sweep has worked today.

I think im just gonna have to face facts that im gonna end up being induced on tues.

Has anyone else got great pressure on their left side of their tummy just above there hip? I have had this for weeks but it is really painful today!

had the odd twinge on one side or the other at odd times (smore left, but sometimes right). doens't last very long and have no idea what exactly is causing it.

ohhh i hope it is things starting!!!! they are really painful the only way i can describe it to OH is "its like being knifed in the fanjita" he bursts out laughing at me!!

Nothing except for a little bit of knicker snot.

OH and I went out for dinner last night and I got a really bad belly ache afterwards, I thought it was labour until it dawned on me I get the same belly ache eveytime we go out to eat- i just keep eating too much food
I'm being a massive pig at the moment and won't stop eating everything in sight, is anyone else like this?

Nothing to report but mild tummy aches and upset tummy again (probably related).

Did the Ironing, sewing, changed the bed, washing, found a wedding anniversary present (1 month in advance), and tidying up so not sure if that is me nesting!

If you know me then you would be surprised as I am not the tidiest person and hate housework but strangely reallly enjoyed ironing

Any signs for you girls?

Also the bottom of my back is aching, but not like strain back ache, more like period pains. Had a couple of braxton hicks this morning and the biggest glob of stretchy, jelly like, discharge. And I feel really sick

Alex... I'm eating everything in sight too, it's all I think about to be honest, I'll be eating one thing and at the same time thinking about what I can eat next.

Moofa... Sounds like nesting to me, hopefully that will get things moving for you, try getting on your hands and knees and scrubbing the kitchen floor. I mentioned nesting in front of my dad the other day and he was like 'Nesting?' I explained to him what it was and he was laughing histerically, seriously he found it so amusing, I was just sat the thinking 'whats so funny?'

I hope that works for you, I did a 30 min walk yesterday and I was certain it would get things moving, but it didn't- my hips were just sore
I really hope our babies are on time, else we'll have to start and overdue club on Monday

I feel really rubbish today!!
I was up through the night, felt like I had a really bad hangover!! This morning iv had the runs and been getting crampy feelings.
My mum came past and first thing she said was "you look awful, thats things starting". Dont want to get my hopes up but I do feel really weird.
