Fuffins, i dont know aobut Becky but your story certainly made me feel better!!
I've been getting myself down assuming that a back to back labour would automatically mean i'd end up needing an Epi (which i really dont want), its nice to hear it can be done without, thinking about it my mum did it with my brother without too but she doesnt count lol

:rotfl:
It is funny how we sometimes disregard what our moms went through. I am petrified of an episiostomy (sp? way off lol)....My mom was given one wtihout gas and air and not even ona contraction  She got through it....To me, I would not get through it regardless!

I am glad the story helped you. I think knowing it's a back to back labour must help even more. Just have the birth ball ready. I had it on the bed and kneeled, leaning over it. My mom and the MW took it in time to massage my back thorugh each contraction while I went up, up and away on gas and air :rotfl:

Whateer happens, I am sure we can cope with it....Even me and being cut :D  :fib:  :rotfl:

 just had a huge gooey show (tmi sorry) and ive been having strong periody pains again.

definetly NOT getting my hopes up though, i still think ill have to be induced 2moro...

I think, at my hospital, if you go in to be induced and you are already dialating, they often do a firm sweep or break waters if possible. Avoids 'formal' induction.

Hopefully, you will beat the hospital and getin there first Tezzy! :cheer:

YAY i can join this thread today!!!

As expected i have nothing to write home about, but im telling myself thats due to the sheer amount of overdue babies and not being able to pop until they come

I had (what felt like) constant BH yesterday and a hell of a lot of nerve pain and some cramps, but i thought the cramps were due to her moving so much, i was convinced she'd gone bk in to position, even Dave could feel her back, but now i'm sure shes back to back again :shakehead:

 theres some babies start making an appearance today!! You've all been waiting so long now, plus i need to get boody with cute baby pics

CONGRATULATIONS ON REACHING FULL TERM SWEETIE

Exciting stuff (sort of) I have some little signs today...period pains and a bit of blood in my discharge this morning when I wiped (TMI???) It is only a very little bit but i'm hoping it''s the start of a show

I've just left a message for my midwife asking if I can have a sweep tomorrow. They do them at 40 +7 and I'll only be 40+2 tmw but thought it was worth asking cos at my next appointment I'll be 40+9.

How are you today Becky?
Are you feeling a bit better about the induction.
Not long until you'll have your baby now chick. :D

How exciting is today!!! cant beleive theres 3 of you for inductions! it must be so odd going to bed last night knowing that by the end of today you should *fingers crossed* at least be in labour!!

My own personal daily report..... nothing lol, except after a day of being in the right position again im pretty sure she's moved! She's meant to have no room anymore! I cant wish her out when she's in the wrong position!!

AND i've just realised i can use my tens machine now!
