News post for Labour signs for 37 weeks +++ ladies

Ouch!! Paiin! cnt imagine how bad its going to be when they start getting REALLY bad

i keep forgetting to time them! about 10 minit's i'd say but there not really regular :? does that mean im still in labour or could this jjust carry on for ages??

Don't know.. do think they need to be regular  it's like the blind leading blind! If i was you i think i would have been at hospital ages ago! Do i remember you posting at sweep you were already 2/3 cms dilated?.. or was that someone else

As long as they are getting closer together then they don't need to be exactly regular.. but if they are say 5 min apart one time then 15 apart etc then it isnt proper proper labour - but it is a good sign that baby will be out very soon!!!!!!! How exciting for u!! xx

ther about 10 minit's i'd say and ther gettin more and more painful. gunner time em again on that website...i keep getting distracted by things :rotfl:

Thats the problem with contraction master. You get distracted and forget to stop the contraction length

Good luck Julie!! :cheer:

When I was having painful tightenings last week, my partner kept asking me the times. But because I was on here chatting, rubbing my tummy or watching TV, I didn't have a clue :rotfl:

It is so annoying starting again lol

In my hospital, I think they just say 2 in 10 mins. They dont have to be dead set 5 mins apart.

I can't wait to hear you are in full blown labour, Julie. I wish all the pain on you :rotfl:

:rotfl: iv got a bad craving for a cherry bakewell  mmmmm!

well i can assure you these contractions are defo NOT BH's...i don't weant to be going to hospital and them sending me home tho, its about a half hour drive there anyways!

I can see why you want to be sure. half an hour is bad if you have to come back. But is also bad if you leave it too late

:rotfl: well..my dad used to be a farmer so i'll be ok!...THAT WAS A JOKE!!

do the old test- take some paracetomol and have a warm bath and see if they ease- thats probably what they'd tell you to do if you rang the hozzie..can you talk through then contractions??
good luck hope this is it :cheer:

it would be very hard to talk through them! i'v been having them since before 12 now and they have got stronger :? i'm just going to wait till there 5 minits apart i think. Or maybe ring the hospital in an hour or 2 and ask them what i should do.

Do you screw your face up when they happen, groan (or almost hold your breath....others go the other way and pant), have to stop moving, clutch your tummy?

Already sonds to me :cheer: like it is defo happening for you Julie

there not that bad yet, but i do have a high pain tolerance. i do find myself having to breathe through them though.

aww..that pain is horrid :( yeh give them a call if anything just to warn them that you will probably be in tonight at somepoint- i would say stay at home for as long as you can bear the pain or till your contractions are 5 mins apart and lasting about a 45 secs-a minute..i think the pain is easier to deal with in your own surroundings the hospital room panicked me!! good luck
just think you'll get to meet your baby soon :)
