STILL no baby despite ongoing pains!

I was up all night in agony and still theres no sign of baby....id love for my waters to go or for the juiciest contractions to get going!!!

BRING ON THE PAIN!!!!!!!

Anyone heard from charlie?..she didn't update yesterday.. maybe shes in labour all the signs were good xx

Last night LO was really active and had pinching/scrapping feeling. Been in nesting mood aswel wasn't to pleased when the curtain pole feel off with my bedroom curtains on whilst cleaning the walls! Been awake since 4am as it sooo light! Can't put the bloody things back up either on my own so will have to stay like that!

well...had some pains when i went to bed last night. can't really describe them, they weren't bad but at least there was some pain!
i couldn't get to sleep propperly so ended up getting up about 4ish, had a cuppa and some paracetamol and went back to bed. Then i got some really bad period type pains and and backache..worse iv had so far anyways! then they stopped so managed top get some sleep finally!
i'm sure he's dropped down abit aswell. either that or i'm going mad

i'm going out for the day to day anyways, gong to get some walking done again and see what tonight brings

i'm hoping i'll get my sweep on tuesday aswell if he doesn't decide to come before then!

i think ill join this thread instead of making my own one

yesterday woke up with really strong period pains and back pains.. mild contractions coming every 20-25min. lasted all day then at 10 lastnight they started getting closer together but not much stronger. when they got 5min apart i rang labour ward and they told me to take 2 paracetamol and go back to bed. so i lay in bed awake all night, contractions still 5 min apart and with lots of crampy backache.

had a bath about half an hour ago which seems to have stopped things completely

Nothing for me...I've been up all night with rib pains and sickness but I'm pretty convinced it wasn't connected to any up and coming labour-in fact the opposite-baby won't move from under my rib cage....come on DROP LO!!

i feel sick today, you know that way when you wake up, and you feel groggy? i just feel like i'm going to have a bug or something i was speaking to someone who had a chest infection yesterday, so i'm praying i haven't picked it up

funny thing is - i had a relatively good sleep last night though, my family keep saying they're desperate for baby to come out now as everythings pretty much ready, but i said no - not until i get a couple of decent nights sleep i hope he doesn't decide to make an early appearence now i haven't had a good sleep for weeks either

Surely we can't have long left to wait now though!!
i really hope i pop before tuesday! i can't even be bothered getting ready and dressed to go see the midwife..not to mention the cost in taxi's!

god i'm lazy but at least im entitled to be for anther week

suprisingly i'm not as impatient as i thought i'd be even though i'm 6 days overdue

i'm just going to relax and make the most of it while i can before he's here! I'v got till Sunday to wait at the most anyways and Midwife appointment tuesday so think that's keeping me going!

hope she gives me some good news when i go to see the midwife on tuesday

i really don't want to hear 'he's STILL not engaged'

I was thinking aswell how tired i'm going to be on the sunday if i do have to get induced..i won't get 1 bit of sleep on the saturday for worrying!!

Isn't your baby engaged at all Julie?
I'm in the same situation and just wondered what happens if they don't engage?
It seems like you are just waiting. if mine isn't engaged on Tues whn I go to see midwife I'll ask her-just wondered what you'd been told-what happens if you go 2 weeks over and Lo still isn't engaged-can they still enduce you?

I hope something happens for you soon hun.xxx

Nope, Last tuesday he was 5/5 palpable
i'm not sure if he's dropped abit since then though
well, if he isn't engaged on tuesday then they won't do the sweep but on the Sunday they will induce me, Im not too sure what they will do apart from monitor me closely because alot of babies don't engage till actual labour starts but i also know that the baby can get a prolapsed cord if he isn't engaged and the cord slips down before him which is fairly scary as i had this when my mum was having me which ended up in an emercency c-section and they only had 20 minutes to get me out

Im sure my midwife will tell me more about what will happen with the induction when i go on tuesday so i'll make sure to let you know
