I had a bit of bleeding at the beginning, it can be an irritated cervix apparantly, cos theres an increased blood flow to the area any little knocks can cause bleeding x

I hadnt realised how common it actually is to have bleeding. I have spoken to people to today including family that have had bleeding. It is so reassuring to know that it is normal.

I still want it to be saturday tomorrow tho!

Hope all is ok Spinney, my friend had bleeding earlier in the week, totally panicked, went for scan and all fine. Like you say, bleeding is quite common. Fingers crossed it's nothing hun x

Hi Spinney, glad you seen the midwife at least. I hope saturday gets here fast for you! It sounds more promising that you don't have serious pain and no heavy bleeding. Just a thought, just now wouldn't have been the time af would normally be due? Just an idea hun that it could have been that, thats how i had spotting. Get plenty rest hun big hugs! xxx

My AF would have been due on Sunday so i suppose it could be that.

Had no more bleeding over night and none so far today so hopefully it has settled down x

Bad news guys bleeding and pain has returned although pain has gone off abit now!

Im still trying to stay positive as the bleeding is only spotting and not too heavy.

sorry to read about the spotting spinneygirl.. sure theres nothing to worry about! (easier said than done!!) my sister-in-law had bleeding the first 3 months of her pregnancy! and gave birth to a healthly lil girl whos now 7!! good luck with Saturday!! xx

Yeah it does seem to be quite common for women to have spotting in pregnancy and for things to be fine! Saturday is not far away now hun, stay strong. Xxx

Stay strong Hun, I have read about spotting from loads of the girls here so it's quite common. My mum bled quite a lot when she was pregnant with me, and I'm pushing 30! Saturday isn't far away now xx

Hi girls, i think you must be right, feeling loads more positive today. Did a test this morning and it came up positive straight away and the lines were just as dark as they ever where

So looks like it was spotting or signs of AF that would normally be here at the weekend.

Looking forward to the scan even more now xxx
