Congrats - that is so sweet! God it nearly killed my hubbie to propose once he definately wont be doing it again :roll:

I was away for a week there - just reading over some posts everyone is doing really well :cheer: :cheer: I have my weigh in tomorrow night - I am feeling a lot more motivated than I was though and I have been doing 35 - 45 mins on my crosstrainer 4 - 5 times a week which Im happy with!

Ill let you know how I do tomorrow
 
Hi Ella, good luck with the weigh in and I think 35 odd minutes on the cross trainer is excellent....can't wait till I have the ability to go that long again on mine. Used to do an hour but were talking 6 years ago!! :) I'll get there in the end, currently doing 10 minutes!! :-(

Nicola, 10 mins is a good start and you will find it just gets easier and easier then next thing you know you will be on there an hour :D (P.S I have PM'd you) :hug:
 
2lbs is great Snuggle....keep it going! Yeah my plan is 10 minutes just now then try 15 etc, 20, 25....get going up that way. Doing an hour now will kill me, LOL. Meant to do 2 sessions the other day but after the morning one I ended up going to get a new car so missed the 2nd one, will do 2 sessions tomorrow (if this sickness feeling I've had ALL day) goes away by then. I'm in bed just now!! :D
 
Doing 5 mins kills me - its terrible isnt it i can only do a mile in 5 mins lol!!!!!!
 
5 minutes is a start Sarah, build up from there, I'm honestly at about the same level as you are....we'll get there, be budding fitness superstars in no time!!

Well after spending 99% of yesterday feeling sick I think this morning it's gone...bit of a headache but no feeling sick I don't think - maybe it was a 24 hour thing, goodness knows at least LO didn't have it!! So didn't eat much at all yesterday, only going to have safe/dry things today see how I feel then - can only be good for the diet thought I guess.

Oh and since I'm down 12lbs now and bet by Monday I can say it's a whole stone I've booked a hair appointment as a treat on Wednesday, can't wait cut and highlights again!! Woohoo!!
 
morning ladies, total weight loss this week is 3lbs so just 12 to loose :dance:
 
Wow well done snuggle, nicola and babylicious - I love reading people doing well it does great for the motivation!!

I built up really slowly on the crosstrainer - I do a 25 min program which is at a high resistance and nearly kills me and then I do 20 mins changing the resistance myself every couple of mins - makes the time go quicker - this is how I built it up - but I tried to jog the other day (doing race for life in just over a week) and I couldnt even manage five mins without walking for a bit - and I used to be able to run five miles so that was a bit depressing - but not going to worry about that for now!

Please could i join in with you? I have decided i need to change! I am not massively overweight but i am fed up of having a big fat belly, feeling unfit and just having a sedentary lifestyle! I would like to lose 2 stone and tonight i am going to go for a power walk/ run and hopefully build up from there! i am feeling down abut how i look and it needs to change!!

i am going to try and read back a bit to see where you are all at, but hoped i might get a bi more motivation if i joined in

Ella that's what I'm going to do...build up to doing half an hour etc, can't expect to do it overnight now can I!!

Nikki of course you can join us, nice to have another on board. Were all doing pretty well and the motivation/encouragement thing is great in here, inspires me to get on and loose more :hug:
 
Hi girls!

Im ditching the working out this week as im concentrating on my food instead. Am sticking to 22 points and its hard! it the amount i stuck to my first week and lost that 4 pound going to try and aim for over 2 pound and what makes it harder is that WW is closed this bank holiday for some reason so have to try harder as I know im not going for the big weigh in, though i will be doing it at home.

So hard not using my usual amount of points but i feel i need a boost this week so concentrating on food instead of excercise. (sorry nicola! will boost you on though!).
My evening was hard last night not eating over my points, man i would of killed for a toffee bar!
 
Sarah I don't know much (well nothing really) about weight watchers diet but just make sure your eating enough points to be sensible and are not cutting out more than necessary....I know that a good diet is around a 2lbs loss per week which is why dieting is so hard. Anyway don't worry about the excersise, I'll do a mile for me and a mile for you tomorrow, will work out for you.....LOL how many people would do that huh?! LOL Oh and if you don't want that toffee bar send it my way will you, I've got a cracking headache I'm sure it would do me good :rotfl:

Hi Nicola and the rest of you. Im eating well dont worry, my points are normally 26 so im only cutting out a desert or two! Ive been getting a bit lax with WW the last week so i figured that if i was a bit strict with myself like i was the first week and get a good loss it would get me in gear again.

I promise im not going hungry, i just want to munch out - i think im hungry but really want to pig out!

Have had a lovely filling dinner ( A.H couscous, with roast veg all mixed in with steak and a choc dessert) so that should keep me occupied.

I think the old temptations are coming out a bit so im desperately trying to keep them in check!
 
Man I love couscous and similar things, DH hates it saying it's bland but I wonder if he'd eat a flavoured one....humm! He just doesn't like rice or pasta much so think he puts couscous in the same catagory without real tastes of it.

Ok glad your eating enough "points" I don't know anything about them but ok no thinking your starving yourself!! :) We had grilled gamon and pineapple tonight which was nice but not very filling at all.

DH is watching the football on the HUGE telly in the lounge tonight so I've been packed off upstairs to watch The Apprentice on the normal sized one in the bedroom!! :)
