Nappy changing - weeing!

9 times out of 10 when we change Isla, she does a wee whilst laying on the mat! I know little boys are prone to doing this but I've not heard of girls doing it.

The amount of times Paige has peed on me is rediculous. There was of course the time she was pooing (during nappy free time) and of course, while pushing out the poop she peed, so it was projectile. Pee alllll up my legs and all over the carpet with poo all over her and the mat. I didn't know where to start

She barely does it now though. Saying that, she did it today lol. But its not very often at all now.

haha, not very nice but it is very common. When I asked the health visitor about this she said that when the cold air hits their bottoms it just increases their urge to wee!!! God knows if this is the truth but she said to initially open up the nappy so the air hits them but then just put it back over them whilst you get the clean nappy ready etc. Apparently this will then give them time to do it and its all contained in the nappy - no accidents!

I did this with my baby and have had no pee pee up me since! xx

Tegan used to wee every Nappy change and she would end up with wet clothes! she doesn't catch me out so much now as i undo the Nappy and leave it there for a few mins! she still catches me out with Poo though as she waits till i pull the Nappy away! x

So far Ross has pee'd in my handbag, on the table, on my mum's foot.....the list goes on! I thought we were past it but the colder weather seems to have started him off again. I don't think he cold wipes help!!

Me too! I've just had a shower and noticed I have a lovely pool of drool and sick in my cleavage and then collected in my bra! Ewww...

Oh and girls who have boys-aren't you glad you have a vajayjay and therefore have never peed in your own mouth?! My child has done this about 3 times now. I will remind him of this when he is 21!

Lol Gem, I always seem to have sick in my bra these days!
Lizzie is fairly good with the peeing thing when i use warm water and cotton wool to clean her but I do think like megsmeadow said using wipes make it more likely cos they are cold.

No, you aren't alone, but i am also amazed how well for little girls they can send the wee.
We have had many times, changing and using several nappies as the wee and poo is directed at me. Always normally in the midday of the night, and she normally needs a wash and a new set of clothes. doh

Just to add, and probably Ellie will prove me wrong later, but since using wipes rather than warm water and cotton, the wee side has got a little less, unfortunately not the aim and fire poo, LOL.
