Nappies?

I know its early to be thinking about this, but I like to plan and be prepared and know what is going on (aka control freak! Lol). I'm just wondering what everyone is planning with regard to nappies? Are you going down the reusable route or disposable or a combination of both. I really have no idea yet what will be best all round!

I was all set to use washable nappies and have even bought some pre-loved ones but I have now changed my mind and am going to use disposables. xxx

disposables all the way! you can get eco friendly ones that biodegrade, so you can still keep the environment ok
i think with the re usables you are washing shitty nappies, and surely washing is no good for the environment, and your bills! x

I'm using disposables. I'm squeamish at the best of times and washing pooey nappies just doesn't appeal!

I do agree with disposables smelling odd! I have my niece sometimes and it's just a weird smell, but I can get used to that I suppose!

Disposables for sure! I think with another kid, sleepness nights and a house to keep, I don't really fancy adding to my list of chores!!

Disposables with 3 kids I really dont want to be adding to my laundry and the thought of washing dirty nappies sort of makes me feel sick!!

I think, the more I read and think about it, the more I am leaning towards disposables. I really don't want to have to have any more to do with poo than I have to! Wrap it up and drop it in the nappy bin sounds fine. Checking for stains and making sure all the poo has washed out really does not sound OK.

I agree I just dont like the thought of it and I reckon in the long run washing all the nappies and the elecricity used will be more harmfull to the environment than a more biodegradable nappy think boots do the more green nappys im going to get them I think x
