Day 10 - Another goodnight last night, Elexia is still waking 4 hourly like clockwork for her feeds and she is going back to sleep pretty quick afterwards.
We took Elexia for her first food shop, she was in her pram asleep the whole way around. She was attracting alot of attention from the other shoppers.
We had another go off the swing as she was wide awake, she loved the sounds and the lights
We also went to see Nannie today, just a flying visit really.
In the afternoon the midwife came around, Elexia now weighs 9lb 3.5oz's so we are 1.5oz's away from reaching her birth weight. She said once she has reached her birth weight she will discharge us from her care as she is happy with everything
Elexia also seen Nanna Merle and Grandad Roy when they dropped Adam off x x

Day 11 - 5th Nov- Elexia's first bonfire night.
Last night was pretty much the same and feeding times were like clockwork, the only thing was after her early morning bottle she got the huccups and didnt settle back down for a while.
We all had a lazy morning then we went too Paul's mum for tea and fireworks. Paul Brother, sister in law, Chloe, Leah and Ellie-Mae had come up from London so Elexia got to meet her Uncle John, Auntie Kirsty and cousins, even though she was asleep most of the time!
Elexia has been draining her 4oz's and looking for more so tomorrow we are going to try her on 5oz's again, hopefully she isnt as sick as last time x x

Day 12 - First day having 5oz's and Elexia is loving it, she has brought some back but she is getting used to it and draining the full amount.
Yesterday we went visiting again, we went to my Nan and Grandads for lunch and Elexia was fast asleep the whole time, then we went to visit my mum and dad and the to my nanna's where Elexia met auntie christa, uncle mike and kandi.
OH is back at work tomorrow so ive got the nursery run with Adam, i just hope my planned routine works and i can get Adam to nursery on time x x

Good luck for tomorrow, i'm sure you'll be fine, do as much as you can tonight so its less hassle for morning. I get myself up & ready first, then 7 y/o then nappy change & bottle for Kayden then when we get home he gets a wash & change of clothes.

Day 13 - 7th Nov - Elexia did really well again last night, she went to bed at about 8ish, never woke up till her bottles at 12.30 and 4.30
Today was my first day without OH being at home, i didnt half miss him all went smoothly though and Adam was a good boy. We managed to drop Adam off at nursery on time, all the staff coed over Elexia, back in the car and through the school traffic and still got home in time for Elexia's bottle we havent done much else today really x x

Day 14 - 8th Nov - were have the last 2 weeks gone?? Cant believe this time 2 weeks ago i was just settling into the ward waiting to see if they would discharge me!
Elexia did well again last night, she is still like clockwork ever 4 hours and she does go back down ok after her feeds littlemiss.
We have had another lazy morning this morning, we didnt have the nursery run so it was nice not to have to rush. This afternoon we are taking Elexia back to the Liverpool Womens to get registered our appointment is 3.45pm and Elexia's bottle is 4.45pm so im just hoping we dont get stuck in traffic!
Elexia had her nails cut for the first time today so she hasnt had her scratch mitts on as much, while i was getting Elexia dressed she was being a clever little lady and was holding her own dummy x x
Update - My little princess is now officially Elexia Lily we got her registered at Liverpool Womens Hospital

She is so cute We've had a lazy day today, too (but all day, not just the morning ) It's lovely not having to do anything and you can just sit having snuggles. It's especially nice in this sort of weather. x

Day 15 - 9th Nov - had abit of a patchy night with Elexia last night, she didnt seem to be her normal happy self, but she didnt half fill her nappy when she woke this morning, so maybe she had belly pains
Elexia is now feeding every 4hours with 5oz's and she is loving it.
She has had her first sip of cooled boiled water today, she seemed to really enjoy it x x

Day 16 - 10 Nov - so far so good tonight, Elexia had her bath, bottle at 8.30 and then went straight to bed, she woke up around 1.40 for her bottle (probably would of stayed asleep abit longer if Adam hadnt of been shouting, hes not well) she had 5oz's and then filled her nappy and went straight back to sleep, just wondering what time she will wake for her next bottle now.
Update - Elexia woke up at 6.30 for her next bottle, she is doing so well.
We had another lazy day today then the midwife came this afternoon, Elexia now weighs a whopping 10lb,so we have now been signed off by the midwife

Day 17 - 11th Nov - another great night with Elexia last night, bottles at 8.45, 1.45 and 6.30, she is doing so well
We went to visit Nan Merle and Grandad Roy this morning after the nursery run, then we had a lazy afternoon x x

Day 18 - 12th Nov - Elexia went back to 4hours between bottles last night, which is still great.
We went christmas shopping today, i forgot the clips to put Elexia's carseat on her pram so she ended up going in her actual pushchair, she looked so tiny but snug as a bug. When we got home i noticed Elexia had the sniffles She has caught Adams cold, bless her, she is not very happy at all x x
