Day 74 - 9th Jan - Elexia was weighed today, she know weighs 14lb 1 and 1/2oz's! I spoke to the HV about Lexi struggling with her bottles and she thinks she is teething, she advised to keep trying once shes calmed down and to offer her toys that will help sooth her gums like a teether or a ring x x

Day 75 - 10th Jan - didnt really do much today, Lexi had a lazy morning with Adam and me. Then when Adam went out in the afternoon, i took Lexi for a lovely long walk in the sun, she was asleep for half of it then she woke up and was staring at the trees, she loved it
Day 76 - 11th Jan - We went to asda and it was the first time Lexi was awake the whole way around. After Lexi's dinner time bottle we went to view a possible venue for her christening, she was asleep the whole time but mummy and daddy loved it snd confirmed the booking later that afternoon.
Day 77 - 12th Jan - Lexi went on a slide for the first time (on mummys knee. We took Adam to Jellybeans playarea and i just thought id see what Lexi's face would be like, her eyes went all wide but she didnt cry
Day 78 - 13th Jan - Lexi and Mummy went on the nursery run this morning then spent the morning at starbucks, she loved sitting by the big glass windows in the sun. When we went home Lexi tried baby rice for the first time today, she absolutely loved it Normally at bedtime Lexi is so unsettled but she was full of smiles tonight. She did really well during the night too, bedtime was 7 and she slept through till 2 then slept till 7.
Day 79 - 14th Jan - Lexi has been alot more settled already today x x

Day 79 - 14th Jan - Lexi was playing on her mat on her back and then we swapped her over to her belly, but she obviously wasnt very happy on her belly because after a few tries she managed to roll back over to her back - im a very proud mummy

Day 80 - 15th Jan - Lexi spent the morning with Mummy, Daddy and Adam, we all had a lazy morning. Then she spend some time with Daddy, while i took Adam to the football academy. In the afternoon we went to visit Nanna, Grandad and Auntie Raych then went to Nanna Margaret's, Auntie Christa, Uncle Mike and Dom were there. Lexi had lots of snuggles and cuddles

Day 81 - 16th Jan - Another lazy day for Lexi today.
She is still feeding every three hours. Elexia was playing before bath time and was trying to eat her rattle bless her x x

Day 82 - Day 86 - 17th Jan - 21st Jan
We have had a busy week with continuing to wean, Lexi is doing brilliantly, she is having 2-3 spoonfulls with her breakfast bottle. Lexi looks for more but im going to stick to this for another week or so then may introduce some puree's. Im very proud of my little princess she is eating off a spoon great Lexi is still feeding every three hours but is alot more happy and content.
We have been for a morning out with friends on Wednesday, we just went for a coffee, Lexi had chance to meet another one of my friends baby's, Evie
We went to asda on friday and Lexi was fasinated with the lights, when we were there i picked up a few jars for when she is ready x x

Day 87 - Day 90 22nd Jan - 25th Jan
Elexia is now 13 weeks old, where is the time going?
We have had a busy couple of days since i last written in the journal. On Sunday 22nd, we did some family visiting, we went to see Nanna Shell, Grandad Nige and Auntie Raych. Lexi was so unsettled until grandad nige picked her up and she fell asleep on him
One Monday 23rd, Lexi and me met up with some friends and went to the light room, Lexi lasted 20mins looking around and listening to the nursery rhymes before she was asleep!
Tuesday 24th was abit of a lazy day really, Lexi loved playing with her toy arch on her chair and kicking away on her mat.
She still seemed very restless today and had a bad night from 11.30 onwards she had about 1hrs sleep
Wednesday 25th, i have decided after a restless night to change Lexi's milk to the aptamil hungry baby milk as a gassy tummy and teething pain must feel very nice. She loved her first bottle of it, lets just hope it works! This afternoon we have been to baby massage, Lexi loved every second was even taking notice of the other babies and talk to them It really relaxed Lexi and all the way home she was fast asleep x x

Day 91 - Day 95 - Thursday 26th - Monday 30th
What a difference the change in milk has made, Lexi is so settled She still gets very frustrated and wants to do more than she can but shes getting there with her routine.
Last night was the first night she slept a full 11hours, with help from a little bit of white noise, just hoping it wasnt a one off x x

Day 96 - Thursday 31st January
Well it wasnt a one off Lexi slept from about 6.30/7 last night till 5.45 this morning. She disturbed at about 2.30 but i just switched the white noise on and she went straight back into a deep sleep. She had her bottle at 6am then fell back asleep for an hour, next bottle at 9. Im so proud of my little princess x x

Day 97 - Day - 99 - 1st Feb- 3rd Feb
Had a few good nights from Lexi, i was shocked as my poor little princess is teething and has been for a few weeks now. It all went down hill from Thursday though as Lexi had her 2nd set of injections, she was very brave and as soon as i put her in her car chair she was fast asleep for 3 hours but when it come to the night time, she wouldn't settle and i was up nearly every hour with her, my poor little baba.
Then once she woke up on Friday morning it was back to the teeth, she didnt enjoy her bottles as much as she has been, she was being abit sick, dirty nappies, really unsettled at nap time and has been biting everything she can get hold of x x

hey hon I can completely symapthise with the teething! We've had a rotten last few days with Grace, the only way we could get her to stop crying before bed last night was to put the hairdryer on! So you say Lexi is not feeding as much? I've been having that with Grace, she was on 6ounces but recently has only been taking 3 or 4, not until I just read your post that I realised it could be related to the teething? Have you tried teething gel or anything? I got some but haven't actually tied it yet x x

Day 100 - Day 107 4th Feb - 11th Feb

Where do I start?? The past week has been full of up and downs, laughs and cries, smiles and lips you can sit on!
The teething situation continued, ive tried bonjela but she pulls a funny face, Lexi prefers just to chew on everything she can get her hands on and calpol when they are really really irrating her and giving her a temp.
But teething wasnt enough, my poor baba has colic, acid reflux and cradle cap.
We were out with friends and their babies on Monday (6th) and out of nowhere Lexi started to scream, it got that bad i had to take her home, i stopped off at the chemist to get some cradle cap shampoo and my poor princess was still in hysterics.
She has had crying spells before which i thought could of been colic but was just trying to ride it out as none of the medicines they sell work. This added with the lack of interest in bottles, the positing, the funny noises in her belly, disturbed nap times and the pulling up of leg had to be more than colic so i booked a docs appointment and Lexi was diagnoised with colic and acid reflux. The doctor gave me infant gaviscon to put in every bottle, at first it felt like it was working but i must of been wrong because it doesnt seemed to have done anything. Im going to take her back to the docs next week and see if there is anything else.
Also on the 6th i got Lexi weighed at 14+6 Lexi weighes 15lb 7oz's, she has dropped a little bit below the percentile line she was following but i expected that as she is no longer having a night time bottle.
Lexi was also starting to become very restless with her dummy so on Friday (10th) i decided to see if Lexi would go without her dummy, we made all of 19hours before i had to give in, but instead of sucking on it Lexi decided she wants to chew on it, so i bought her some dummy teethers to try, they are a weird shape so it going to take her some time to get used to them but im going to keep trying.
Lexi has really been enjoying her banana porridge, she know has it between her afternoon bottle and bedtime and its working great
Today (11th) i decided to try her on a new taste, been asthough she is 16weeks on Tuesday, she tried fruit salad and loved every but of it, tomorrow she is going to have grandpa's sunday lunch, not sure what the reaction will be but im hoping she likes it, fingers crossed x x

Day 108 - 126, 12th Feb - 1st March

Haven't wrote in here for a while, its been pretty mad with the colic and reflux but fingers crossed things are getting better now we are on the next stage of weaning.
Lexi is now going 4hrs between her bottles with porridge for breakfast and a savoury and sweet for her tea. We are going to introduce a dinner over the next few weeks. She is loving food and cant get enough of it
Elexia was weighed on the 20th Feb (15w 6ds), she weighed 16lb 3oz, my little chubby

Cant believe i havent wrote in here since 1st March!

Elexia has grown up so much since then, she is now sitting up, rolling over, trying to crawl, shes eating 3 meals a day and loves jaffa cakes!
She has been christened and been on her first holiday, cant believe how time flies!

Its been nearly a month since i have written in here and Lexi has grown up even more! She is now babbling away, baba, dada,mama, hiya and hello, she even puts her phone to her ear and says hiya, its so cute

Day 309 - 30 Aug
I cant believe how quick Elexia is growing up! In 55 days my little princess is going to be 1! There has been lots of new words, lots of new actions but she is still a gummy bear.
