My labour watch thread - he is here :D Birth story in the labour section!

lol yeah I know. But I always feel bad after I have them - so silly!

Never feel bad after a choc eclair!! Unless u stole it from an old woman!!

lol Jayceesmumma - I meant I feel bad physically. I just feel sick! But I still have them again and again...

Ah.. I have to have something salty after sweet or I'll feel terribly sick.. So never have choc without ready salted crisps :D kinda balances out!

Yeah grannies carry bricks in their bags lmao!!

a little update:

had my 38w app today. The mw said that the baby is ready to come out, and it might happen any day now  He is in the right position and even though he is not fully engaged, she said he is likely to stay this way until actual labour.

my back started hurting yesterday (which can be a sign of labour), and I had some funny pain today at the top of my leg/bottom of my tummy. I wonder what that was all about?...

my blood pressure was a bit high, so my mw will come and see me again this weekend. She told me to give her a call if I have the baby before then though lol    Right, I think this is the time when I start panicking!

glad lo is in good position !!! hope he doesnt keep u waiting too long !! try and stay relaxed though wont do your bp any good if u get stressed !!! xxx

Well I don't want to go overdue, but I don't feel like I'm ready yet either... :oooo:

I still want to go to many places and many things! And I just can't believe it might really happen soon... Sounds too unreal!

thanks :) I didn't get stressed out much recently at all... No idea why my bp would be high! I'm glad that my mw is going to keep an eye on it though.

M2A omg when you say it like this it sounds so real! I'm not ready yet!

If LO has got other ideas, he wont wait till you are ready, what have you got left to do hunny?
Im sat here just eaten spicy chicken, a full pineapple, been for a walk and now drinking a raspberry leaf tea to warm me up, egging LO on to arrive as my midwife said the same thing over 2 weeks ago and im still sat here :( x x

M2A I don't have anything important to do, all the shopping is done etc... It's just that my parents came to stay with me, and I would like to take them to many places while I can, I like going for my walks, and cooking nice food... I'm just really enjoying my lazy time, and like my bump. Scary to think that all my life will change any moment now!

You could make quite a few of your nice meals and freeze them hunny, that way you get to cook and you have yummy meals for once LO is here :) x x

I guess I could try that... I'm rubbish at freezing things though - I always worry what can be frozen and what can't, and how long it could be kept for... Having my mum here is very convenient though - I can ask her all these questions, she'll know!

Mums always know these things :) Have fun hunny but make sure you put abit of time aside for you to rest too x x
