My IUI journey!

Thanks for that hun, my next scan is 8.30am tomorrow and ive had a weird tummy ache today so hopefully it my ovaries bubbling away lol.

My nurses are good, but they havent really taken their time with me, its kinda in - scan - out not much time for questions or reassurance. 1 of my scans was on a 3D scanner and the consultant picked up 2, the 2nd was on a normal and the nurse said theres only 1 worth bothering with.

Amazing news!! So pleased for you Chaz!!

I can't wait to follow your 2ww and would LOVE to see your BFP at the end of it!

Massive amounts of baby dust lovely!!

:dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust:

Will you start progesterone at 3dpo?

Xx

I already have the progesterone pressaries, and as far as i know ill be starting them straight after, they've said for 14 days xxx

Fantastic news!!!

Gonna be a long 2ww!! Like the one im having!!

woop woop and lots and lots of dust!! xxxx

Amazing news lovely roll on the next 2 weeks for that BFP! Xxx hugs xxx

Ouch :(

Just had my trigger shot....it stung, and i was paranoid i was gonna kill myself with a bubble lol. Area around it is slightly swollen.

Tomorrow ill be worrying about the suppositries/ pressaries because these go up my bottom to avoid getting thrush....and what if i can't poop?

Im laughing now but will i be in a few days? Ha ha xx

Ah that's great news hun. I know the shots and pessaries aren't fun but just think how worth it it will be once you get your bfp :) x

Yeeha great news Chaz!!! Bring on the 2WW! Im interested in these pessaries has everyone to take them who gets IUI? I cant imagine having to put something up my bottom that freaks me out if Im honest. How long is it for and how many tablets?

Amazing news hon. have everything crossed for you

I'm scared about the progesterone pessaries too. Let me know how they go...

I've had no trouble putting them up my fairy Chaz, you get a big dribble after 20 mins or so then it's like normal cm, they're not irritating at all either.:)

I wouldnt fancy having a creamy bum..

I'd do whatever is best for you the night one's no trouble, and the morning one you can do whilst you're sitting getting ready doing your make up etc, you only need to sit for about 1/2 an hour.

X

Eek so chuffed for you Chaz!! So you've triggered today..when is IUI? Really hope this is it!! And I'm sure your bum will soon get used to the supposetries hehe xxx

Maybe - i have Cyclogest 400mg, and been told to pop them in when i go to bed, just 1 a night for 14 nights. The laflet does say you may get discharge from it.....ill just have to remember to not break wind ha ha! I am quite prone to thrush if im not careful with things, so will see how they go, might go wild and change front to back every other evening ha ha ha!

Laura - Ive been told you get them prescribed becuase your body is being forced to produce follicles and release the, so you may not develop the cyst (?) that contains all the necessary hormones for early pregnancy, and if i fall i have to continue them untill week 12

Blondy - We have to go to ACU at 11am so OH can do his sample. I giggled when the nurse said "The pressures on you now young man!" ha ha, but he'll be fine. Then we can go off for 2 hours and have lunch and pop back at 1pm for the insemination xxxx

Ahh I had cyclogest too 400mg x2 a day though, night is no bother, you'll be cool, your first day will be my last, I stop tomorrow!:)

I have a lot of faith in progesterone, FX it helps you.

Lots of luck for tomorrow!

Xx

Eeek, good luck chaz! and fab news on the 18mm!!! let us know how the suppository goes, the thought of that really freaks me out :oooo:

:dust: :dust: :dust:
