My cycle is driving me up the wall!

Was supposed to OV yesterday, but still havent had a positive OPK yet even though I have been POAS every day for a week now!
And still no EWCM!!
I have been humping like a mad woman for well over a week, and for what?! Still no egg!!



I'm so fed up with this!
Im supposed to be in my 2WW now, and apparently Im not!

I do, however, keep getting like a butterflies feeling in my tummy. Have been getting it all day so far and not sure why.
But it cant be a symptom because I havent effing OV'd yet!

If I dont get a positive OPK today I will actually choke someone!!

AND to top it all off, I am going to an engagement party tonight and have to come up with some excuse for why Im not drinking, which will make everyone suspicious, and then AF will prob arrive, so I will have stayed off the drink for no reason and will look like a tool when everyone suspects Im preggers but Im actually not.

Hey hun, don't worry I know exactly how you feel. I ov really late this month and was getting so fed up of poas to get a no smiley every day! I spoke with my sister about it (she has 3 children) and said she also ov really late in her cycle, which was why it took her so long to fall for her 1st, but because she worked this out she fell really quickly with her 2nd. Just keep doing what you're doing hun.

I had a friends party the other night and faked I was hungover from the night before so was driving. I've also asked for a glass of wine and sipped it so slowly it's lasted all night, but because everyone else is getting drunk they haven't really noticed.

Im not even having fun anymore because we've done it that much recently that its now more like a chore.
Didnt do it last night though, and now Im paranoid that we might have missed the opening - so to speak lol.

We got a bit like that hun, it felt like we had to do it just in case we missed the opportunity rather than wanting to do it. We found going out on date nights and spicing things up - we own our own business and I started wearing sexy (but appropriate) outfits to work, then I'd wait until the staff went and pounce. I think you need to try and stop thinking of it as baby making - very hard I know xx Good luck xx

^^ lol at this! Hope your hubby doesn't see that lol! This happened to me the first time I did ov tests haven't tried again since but I have some for this month (I came on last night). seems it happened to a lot of people, which means that ov cycles differ a lot??

Hiya!! It could be a bit delayed due to the pill maybe?
I think you should have one glass and just drink it slowly!! We are having dinner with our best friends tonight and they are the only people who know we are TTC so I feel forced into having a drink just so they know I'm not yet!! We BD'd last night and it almost felt like a chore, that sounds horrible doesn't it but hubby was taking ages to ahem, climax *tmi* and I made him carry on till he did- think he was knackered oops!!
I need to think of ideas to keep it fun, hmmm xxxx

A friend of mine gave me an Ov test and I did it last month out of curiosity really, on day 14 when I thought I would ov, but apparently not!! I never realised before I came on here, jus how varied cycles can be- gone is the idea of a 28 day cycle, ov on day 14, BFP and baby 9 months later!! I would have never thought it would be so complicated to achieve something so natural, but obviously there is more to it than I thought!

The wedding i went to yesterday i didnt drink anything and drove as we are ttc and i dont want to jeopardise it....and the hard thing is tomorrow we are going on this charity tour thing where everyone drinks but i wont be, so its gonna look really suspicious!

Luckily i havent been a big drinker since finishing uni yrs ago, but still when its a drinkathon ur gonna attract attention with ur orange juice lol

I just ordered sprite and told everyone it was vodka and white lemonade. Lol, got away with it too cuz I woke up with a giant headache and told my friends it was due to the alcohol lol.

Still haven't OV'd though according to the OPK's. Huff

i kno how u feel, sometimes my cycle is 28 days sometimes 33.
it varies really.
so we've been tryin to do it most nights but 2 nights we didnt just hope them 2 nights were'nt the nights we should of.
just feel like a chore doesnt it?
its fine wen u feel u dont have to do it.

Don't despair, keep doing the opk's. Are you doing them in the afternoons? The cycle I got pregnant on was af starting 13th March and I didn't ovulate until 3rd April but I only knew that because of OPKs so keep up with them and they might help you catch the right time. x

Yeah I do them in the afternoon or early evening. And I try not to drink for a few hrs b4 doing one.
Af is due the 11th sept so will keep doing them til either I get my LH surge or get my visit.
