Hellooo peeplings!!

Been a few wks since shown my face on here.
Felt i kept moaning bout same rubbish!!!
But now my AF has finally arrived (after waiting not-so-patiently).

So.... for the ppl that dont know...... I seem to be struggling since last MC last yr to get a pos OPK. My last two cycles now have been 39dys long on the dot. even tho ive always been 28/29.....

SO my question is....... WTF is going on?? Lol.
Or more precisely wat wud u lot do?

I thinkin maybe my cycles have readjusted and are set at 39 now and maybe that why i havent been gettin +OPKs (as only been testing to CD20ish last couple mnths - and 39d cycle u ov between 20-26)

But becuz im still not sure..... im fearing a may have to BD from CD10 onwards until like CD30 just to be sure to catch it. And wen i say fearing i dont mean my OH is a hideous beast....i just mean...well thts a lot of organised not-so-sexy legs in the air dramas. And it does get tiring.....lol.

Anyways wat do u think ladies???

Hello darling,

Been thinking about you recently as you've not posted for ages??

Firstly I just want to double check you still have your Dr's appointment in March? I think you def need blood tests to confirm you are Ov'ing.

My next suggestion would be to get a pile of cheapie OPK's online (you get 50 for like five quid) and test every day from CD10 onwards... You don't have to bd every day from CD10 but you can at least keep an eye on things... It may well be that your cycle has just shifted and you are ov'ing much later...

Also you may want to consider temping.

I don't temp but I do have an Excel sheet and I keep track of my cycle. I make a note everyday (about my moods / CM / Ov pain etc...)

Like myself, I know your body has been through a lot sweetie, and maybe it is just having a little breather??

Eeesh yeah we still got our appointment 7th march is it.
Doc thawt we'd be preggers next time he saw us. How wrong he is. lol

Our results came back from all the blood tests we had last yr. Everything seems normal they sed. Humpf. In a strange way i kinda wanted them to find somet that cud easily be fixed. then atleast we wud know where we stood; if u no wat i mean. Still no better off knowing. BUT tis a blessing also i suppose!!!

Wat website do the cheapy cheapy OPKs plz hun? Ive seen some cheap but not really tht cheap. Ill order some now.
Not sure on temping i am a temping virgin! Lol.

I also bought some digi's so when I get a line on the cheapies I confirmed with my digi....

I ov'd early hours of this morning so it's 2ww time now... This is my 2nd cycle of proper TTC (4th cycle since last miscarriage though!)

How long ago were your bloods done? You say last year - were you still having regular cycles then? It may be that things have changed a little and you need to have them redone?

Do you get any lines at all on the cheapies?

Ahhhh sorry hun i confoozed u..... my blood tests were not to see if i was ov. They were to check for defects in my genes, cells, blood, etc to see if there anything tht cud be causing MCs. We also had a joint test to see if our genes were compatible cuz sometimes female body can reject the male genes or somet. But we fine with all tht.
Havent had any tests to see if ov. tht wat i guna mention to him on next app.

My cycles were 28/29 days (but still i struggled to determine a +OPK) until my dec cycle which was 39....and same with last one....
Im on cd 9 now of this cycle. So i better get cracking tbh. Just starting to lose the energy also to bother. lol.

I got feint lines yeh. Some were darker than others but never as dark as the test line. Maybe halfway. Compared to the +OPKS pix on this forum they were nothing like. But i have heard ppl have got preg on a feint before???
Ooooo ill have a gander on those links in a minny then.
So how do u feel this months TTC went then? Think u got it???

Have a look at the OPK gallery hun and see how your lines compare? Just as an idea.... Mine were never super dark but I still got a smily face... In fact I jsut posted my recent OPK for you...

You obviously do Ov as you get pregnant BUT it's also known that sometiems our cycles can jsut change and our fertility can also be affected at any time.

I'd def push for some bloods just to know for sure you are still Ov'ing (I think you have them at certain cycle days)

I got told at my last scan my left ovary is possibly polycystic? I mean WTF?

We get the results of all our blood work in 2 weeks (sounds like we had exactly the same tests - I gave 14 vials of blood in one go!! OH gave 3 vials)

Sorry I don't have a more definative answer for you darling, I do feel your frustrations though! Like our TTC situation isn't tough anough as it is??

Oh sweetie, there are so many of us in the same boat (well not exactly the same boat but there are plenty of people that struggle with getting preggers!)

I find this place a very healthy wat to let off steam actually!! TTC is quite a private thing and not many of my friends know so this place keep me sane!

I don't fit the bill of PCOS, but you can still have a polycystic ovary and not have the actual syndrome? They scanned me on the wrong day in my cycle anyway so couldn't be sure?

Keep trying with the OPK's - the cheapies are crap though and some womne never get a line with them? You may want to try a few different brands (finances permititng of course!)

Not sure about the smily face on CD8? That is a bit odd BUT I guess you were having much shorter cycles then?

Ironically we don't 'do' Valentine's Day

My + was early this cycle and we've hardly had any sex so I doubt we'll get a BFP this cycle! Fingers crossed though.

At least you only have a few more weeks until you go back to your Dr

Life is a bitch hey? I never thought I'd be here a year down the line and not even pregnant?? But hey ho - we'll get there in the end!

Back on 2nd March for results of blood tests, if I get period I need to rebook my scan as the idiots booked me on the wrong day so couldn't conclusively say if my left ovary is polycystic or not?

In the 2ww again so we'll see!! I am trying to be cool and calm LOL!

Hey hun have u thought bout using clear blue fertility monitor? Does all the working out for you, no line spotting required!

Opks havnt work too well for me, I've tried cheapies and boot own brand, only ever got one pos on them and used them bout 3 times

And u could always try vit b 50 complex to try reduce ur cycle a bit? When I took it reduced my cycle by 4 days I think and I ov 5 days earlier than usual Xx

CBFM is an idea but they are expensive.

I used the cheapies and back them up with a digi OPK but of course I cna only do that as they chepaies do kind of work?

Yeh i was thinkin of gettin a FM couple of months back but looked and they so expensive. £40 doesnt sound bad tho. And tbh the amount of OPKs ive bloody bought since decidin a FM wud be too expensive ive prob gone spent well over £40 already!!!! Lol.

Ahhhh god carnat isnt it weird. Us both bein able to concieve one after another and now NADA! Maybe our bodies r saving us frm more heartache until they know whats wrong.

Everything pointin to my blood being too thick to be honest so im hoping the baby asprin will work next time. If i doesnt i think ill just give up!!!!!

Not sure what is wrong with me? I am hoping something simple like blood or hormones.

Dr said if it's an egg quality or chromosome issue we'll be referred for IVF

I really don't want that?

TTC is exhausting, but I am sure it will be worth it in the end

You can alway resell the CBFM when you get your BFP

I am 32 in a few months, I don't have forever BUT I am trying to remain positive...

It's weird how different Dr's tell you different things?? Yep it would be NHS IVF - we can't afford private treatment.

Hows ur OH been with all this hun? Sometimes i think they feel so helpless. And i feel slightly sorry for my hormones attacking my OH every now and then Lol. He's actually been a bloody gem. (even tho im sure sure id admit tht to his face lol).

Can u believe those OPKs i ordered yesterday afternoon have just been delivered!?!??!?! HOW FAST WAS THAT!!!! Just in time! Fabness!!!

Awwww hun everything just feels like a long wait doesnt it We always think wen were younger we'll have no trouble gettin preg n everything will be perfik. Litle did we know.....
But everything WILL be perfik one day shug. Wait and see.

(We just gotta keep venting and ranting to eachother on this so we keep SANE until the perfectness arrives!!!!)
