More fertile after MC

Has anyone else heard you are more fertile after MC? I have heard this but wondered why?

I have heard that this is true, but have no idea why that is.

yes it is true apparently your elevated progesterone levels from pregnancy, (they support pregnancy and implantation) take a while to lower after MC, so for 2/3 months they think that there is evidence to show increased fertility because of this. lots of women do seem to fall pregnant very quickly after a MC

Hope u both get BFPs- id say its true being pregnant again after miscarriage end of April and after one proper cycle. x

as already explained, I fell on again 6 weeks after MMC, which I wasn't expecting as 1st time round I was waiting to be referred to a fertility specialist

I have heard that you can be more fertile after a MC: I fell again three months after my MC, unexpected!! So maybe it is true.. up until the MC I hadn't got pregnant for two years. I remain hopeful that things will be fine still.. xx

I agree that you're more fertile after a mc, I had been trying for ages then fell pregnant after a miscarriage with no period in between. Good luck xx
