Yeah its a right pain in the bum! But the appointment is at 8:40 .. so unless it speeds up and gets to three minutes before 8.. im still going >.<

Back from the midwife! Fully effaced, and 3cms! Contractions stopped again though with being up and about, but given another sweep, and she would be suprised if i go longer than 48 hours now.

Been given a Bishop's Score of 8 .. Anyone know what that means? I know it has something to do with inductions.. but cant find a solid answer on the net, all contradicts each other Lol

No idea on the bishops score for certain, but do they give you a score out of 10 if you should need inducing ie 1= not favourable, 10= very favourable? 8 would be pretty good x

i had a bishops scale of 0 when i went to be induced and they couldnt even reach my cervixs so think its how far forward it has come but not 100% but its a good sign x

Cant use the pool till im 5cm, so dont want to go in before then, dont want to be hanging around in a hospital room! Lol so going to wait as long as possible before making my way out there.

Wow 3cms, that's great! Don't know about the bishops score thing, never heard of it, but sounds like everything is going well!!
Going back to the whole 'feeling your own cervix thing', are you able to tell yourself that you're 3cms? Would you know if you dilated more?
