Update: 13.46 - (Sat) Pessary is in, being examined again at 5pm, 1cm dilated before pessary was inserted, no pain as yet xx

Update: 18.44 - still only 2cm but they wont give her another pessary as contractions are coming thick and fast! About to start bouncing on a ball xx

Update: 22.22 - 'Hooked up to the monitor again! I think my waters may have broken but im waiting for them to confirm it, contractions getting painful now lol x'

Update: 17.40 - (Sun) Lauras waters went last night but they didnt check her so she has had a painful night, went to the labour suite at 7am and lasted all day on gas and air only to be told that baby is back to back and she will now have to have an epidural - on the plus side he should be here soon. Keep going hun your doing brilliantly!! xx

Update: 07.48 - 'Hi everyone, baby Jack was born last night at 10.53 by emergency c section after a long and horrendous labour. He weighs 7lb 10. Baby fine, mum still a bit ropey but hes worth it x
