Had a text off Kat this morning.

17/6/12

** hey hun, it,s Kat of pf. My waters went this morning at 6am so phoned the labour ward, they asked me to go in. Had a shower and finally on my way. Contracting around every 3 mins ish xx.

** I,ve taken my time coming down to labour ward, I have a feeling it will be slow. Just been put on the monitor. Don't think they,ll let be go home coz of my previous section. Xx

Ella penny-may wainwright was born at 17.05 today weighing 6lbs.8. Sorry for lack of updates! It all happened so quick. Went from 3cm at 2pm to our beautiful baby girl being born at 5.05. After getting past 4cm I only had gas and air as there was a crash section so never got my epidural that I was praying for and they wouldn't give me morphine as her heartbeat kept decelerating then they didn't belive me when I said I needed to push. Needed a few stitches and lost a lot of blood but we are both doing well now. Just narrowly missed being cut and having the suction cup. She is gorgeous and we are so proud xx
