Michelle, I have options tomorrow, get my GP to do my bloods and wait til Tues for the result or pay £40 and get the results in 2 hours with the private doc, I really like my GP and it might be nice to see her and quite possibly she would get the results Monday evening for me but it might also be nice to get reassurance from my private doc as after all he's the specialist.

To all you ladies who've been here before what happens regarding midwifes, my friend is a midwife at a local but not the nearest hospital, I think I want her to look after me so would I need to ask to be referred to that hospital?? I'm gonna tell her after my bloods come back anyway..

I guess I just wondered if the midwife you see in early stages is the same as your hospital one?
