May 2019 mummies

Our little lady made her entrance to the world this morning at 2:37 am at 36 weeks, weighing 6 pounds 2 ounces. With her being a little bit premature she has had a few problem maintaining her temperature but seems to be doing well now. Just still working on breast feeding and hoping we can go home tomorrow
Thread crashing to say massive congratulations to Lucy C! Enjoy every second of newborn cuddles and being the mumma you always have been xxx

Little baby Zak arrived on 11/5/19, weighing 6lb exactly, it’s been a crazy few days adjusting to life as a new mum, but feels amazing, and I am so in love with my little boy!

Hello,
Had what i thought were just some badass Braxton-Hicks from about 6pm Tuesday evening. Husband fussing as they were coming pretty regularly so we went to labour ward as a precaution arriving at 9pm - I was still convinced they’d ease off at this point.
They had a quick check and I was 5cm. She went to get the gas and air and my waters went about 9.30. HIgher than a kite on gas and air so let MW have another quick feel and I was fully dilated then with 3-4 whopping pushes baby Ruby bursts out (leaving a shredded perineum) at 10.22pm. Good job my husband recognised those pesky Braxtons were the real thing or I’d have stayed at home and our 4 year old son would have had to catch Ruby (husband have passed out at this first whiff of blood!)
Are we still waiting for many May babies?
