Re hospital bags I reckon about 30 weeks i will pack mine? I really dont know, i guess its always handy having a little overnight bag or at least the stuff readily available incase you need to go in for whatever reason.

Its hard to know when is best, might go 2 weeks late or be early but Id say best to be prepared especially as it eases your mind.

I'm loving these owl ideas, they work so well in nurseries and are unisex too I'm thinking about 34 weeks for my hospital bag. That's about the right time for washing all the clothes and blankets too. The trouble is I don't even anticipate going into labour as I never did last time

Has anyone else been prescribed iron tablets? I had blood taken at my request at the midwife on Wednesday and yesterday the doctors called to ask me to collect a prescription! I knew I was more tired than I should be.

I'm on iron but that has been even before pregnancy as I'm anaemic all the time... can give you dreadful constipation and sorry tmi black poops!! lol

i've had iron tablets previously but I'm not on them at the minute, yet. Kind of expecting to be once they check iron levels at next appointment (not for a couple of weeks still)

When i took them last time they weren't toooo bad as i'd heard some horrors from people. Think i was on pretty low dose which may have been why i got away with it. Toilet habits did change but nothing nasty or difficult. Fingers crossed your the same x

Elliott let us know how the tour goes, I've booked one but they said its too early in the pregnancy to go on a tour, so have to wait until the end of March.

Glad you got to catch up on sleep Caseysmummy, sounds like you needed it. Apparently the wall decals are easy enough to remove/move.

Bigbee that cushion is cute

We like the owls and woodland themes as like I said before we love outdoor activities and OH is from a town very near to a heavily wooded mountain range. Plus we thought its quite gender neutral if we are lucky enough to have another child in the future.

Think I'm allergic to bio oil. been using it, but stopped early this week as i had a very itchy rash on my belly, last 3 days I have just used double base cream on my bump and the rash has cleared up. Anyway know of any good stretch mark creams/bump creams for sensitive skin?

I bought cusson bump strech mark cream as I found the coco butter smell really over powering and sickly and it's really good and stops itching and I have really sensitive skin all over as suffered with eczema and so far no reaction after 2 weeks. I've booked myself into the drs thus afternoon as I feel so rubbish, going to take a sample in and ask if she can give me anything for this flu type feeling ive got although I feel it may be related aa still struggling to wee even though im drinking plenty of water. My groin also feels bruised today but not sure if that's from work or not. I just want to feel better now. My midwife give me my blood forms at last appointment. When should I get my bloods done? I forgot what she said now and she didn't write it down xxx

Our nursery is not really themed, but I saw the cushion in the shop when I was buying paint, and though might as well get it! Was a tenner.

I will start packing after 30 weeks, I think. Just get bits and bobs together...

Bio oil is pants. It made me itch. I use palmers butter now, it's alright.

Well we have had a busy day. Wasn't expecting it to turn out the way it did. had a call from our letting agent saying we have to be out by 27th april brilliant timing so spent the day going round letting agents & arranging viewings. Got 2 lined up for tomorrow so hope we like one or both. Would be good to get moved & settled asap. & Id have a nursery to decorate lol!

This morning Freckle was rather quiet. Eaten - nothing. Had cold drink - nothing. Felt a couple of squirms but nothing to his normal standard. Went out in the car & all of a sudden he goes mental! Glad hubby was driving as it was really off putting! Little monkey!

Sorry to hear you haven't had the best of days larly. Funny you should say that about freckle today, I think it must be lazy baby day as I was only just saying to other half if i don't feel baby moving soon I'll be phoning the midwife as she was very active yesterday but nothing since early morning today. Maybe she'll suddenly give me a dance like freckle did.

Bigbee we haven't got a theme as such just a few things happen to be woodlandy not everything though as the bath and bath set we have has a little teddy bear on it.

Well, I've been pigging out this week lunch out on Wednesday, then my other fried took me out for lunch today and we are having Dominos tonight! I also had a snickers and a twix yesterday!!! Wow. Need to calm down!

So glad it's the weekend. Going to stay in a hotel tomorrow night with my oh can't wait!

Also... 12 weeks of work left. YAS. YAS. YAS.
