****** May 2015 Mummies to be *******

TMI alert lol!! Has anyone started suffering constipation again? I had it bad at the start, went back to normal now its back again, ive tried eating mroe fruit, fibre etc etc nothing!!

Thanks Bigbee I am sat chilling now and haven't gone to yoga tonight.

Buttonbear, luckily not, but I was terrible in tri one and brought loads of tins of prunes in juice, so I have a supply on hand should it happen again. In fact my boyfriend commented the other day about how many tins we had and I just said 'I'm prepared, I don't want to be in that pain again' :-)

xx

Well, prunes, plums, apricots make me go..... :) I've not suffered with constipation yet, but I don't eat any of the above at work, as they make me rather gassy!!!! Haha

Jessicat- I didn't think of prolapse umbilical, or anything like that from the position of the baby! Sections aren't ideal and I totally agree with the feeling like you've missed out on labour (my mother assures me I haven't!!)! I frequently have a moan to oh about it but I think he has gotten so used to the conveniences of c-sections, he doesn't even think about the alternative!

Buttonbear the prunes definitely work!! The ones in juice are ok, just don't make the mistake i did, in desperation I had a whole tin, and urm you don't need that much to get you going!!!!! So the next time I had half and that did the trick without having to run to the bathroom like when I had a whole tin!!

Oh no blueeyes that doesn't sound pleasant!! Will have a look tomorrow at the supermarket. Thank you :)

Not sure which supermarket you use but I got the Tesco ones in juice (ones in syrup are too sweet) and they are nice. Haven't needed them for a while thankfully xx

I've not been suffering with constipation just really hard movements. So I've been drinking lots of orange juice to soften everything up and it's worked. The day after I went 3 times without it hurting :) haha
Pregnancy is so glamorous :)

What do you think you'll do this time round if all goes to plan?

Jessie I'm also wise awake, lower back and hips seem to hurt more laying down xx

I seem to have killer heartburn that I can't shift as well.
I'm playing games on my phone, I hate games!

Morning ladies. Sorry to hear you've had bad night jessie and blueeyes. I nearly slept through my alarm, im so tired even after an afternoon nap yesterday. I've also woken up needing the loo desperately but only dribbles ( sorry tmi) I had plenty to drink last night and it's now burning but also feels like I need to go again straight after, does this sound like a water infection? I work in a hospital do you think it's worth popping to the pregnancy day care unit and giving them a sample to test? Im extremely paranoid abouta water infection since the midwife picked up traces in my sample last week, I had my results back yesterday and there was no significant growth and to hand another in if symptoms started or persisted. I've not had a water infection before so im not sure what to be looking out for though. Also my friend had a water infection with her son and went into premature labour because of it and obviously don't want to risk that. Im also constipated, but I found weetabix helps at times. I thought it was just my ibs playing up. Also feeling very sick this morning. I feel like such a moaner today lol. Only 6 more shifts to go. Xxx

I'd pop in and see if you get a sample tested, hope your day goes ok!

I've got my midwife appt this afternoon so I get to finish work slightly earlier yey!

That does sound like a water infection Casey, I'd get it checked too.

I had a good night, I was in bed just after 9pm and Blake didn't wake until 6:40 this morning, although I was bursting for the loo!

I've got the MW this afternoon too Mayflower :good: I need my blood testing, my MATB1 and I want to hear the heartbeat! I've not heard it yet. Me and Blake are at Musical Movers toddler group this morning, which feels like aerobics for kids. We have to run and skip around the room, reaching high and touching the floor. i had no idea what it was about when we first went and it came as a bit of a shock to the system :)

Yes I am getting my Matb1 as well, and I need to see if she knows how and if I can claim SMP and Mat allowance, as I have two jobs.

Ohhh and on another note, my Tesco shop arrived last night. I'd ordered some breast pads and maternity pads - omg how big are those things?!

It was my due date!! Blake was due on 4th Feb 2013. I can't believe that was 2 years ago. I was desparate for him to come out, but his birthday isn't for another 2 weeks lol!
