****** May 2015 Mummies to be *******

evening!

I have not worn an underwired bra for months, ot was one of the first things to go as boobs appeared to grow overnight! Having had a second growth spurt now need to get some new maternity bras.

hope everyone is ok and had a good day x

My bras don't feel too tight... My boobs have grown loads, so I am wearing my old fat-days bras. I was 32Cish before pregnancy, now I estimate I am about 34Eish...

I wear sports bras at the weekend though :) but yes, need to buy some maternity ones...

Durham, your description of mastitis made me laugh. Shame about the end of breastfeeding though :(

I know  Blake was a sod to latch at the best of times, there was no getting him near the big red hot angry boob and he wouldn't use the other one anyway. This was when he was only 5 days old too. I expressed for a few weeks but couldn't keep up. It was against me from the start really.

Bigbee Sorry to hear about yours and OH’s work situation. I know how worrying it is (my OH is down to 10 hours a week, so whilst we can live on my salary now we’ll be stuck once I’m on SMP). I have physio booked through midwife on the 20th, but can’t wait that long so I have made an osteopath appointment for Wednesday. Only managed some gentle swimming at the weekend and couldn’t do breast stroke as hurt my hips too much. Feel a fat achy mess.

Jessie I had a horrible feeling its sounding like PGP, I’m assuming the osteopath will be able to diagnose it? Where can I get a maternity belt from? Are certain ones better than other?

Buttonbear isn't it funny how we all differ, when I have tried maternity stuff on I have hated the under bump as I feel like I am spilling out of them ha ha

NM1979 hope you feel a bit better now. Bosses don’t seem to understand do they.

Yep still in underwired bras, think I will be all the way through with my ridiculously massive boobs. Will get a nursing bra from bravissimo nearer the time. My boobs were big enough pre pregnancy but my boyfriend keeps joking the local diary have been calling for me :rotfl: as now up to a 34hh and still seem to be growing! xx

Dying boob hahaha proper laughed even though its agony! Your booby just goes hard like a brick and as red as one.

Cabbage leaves in the freezer = life saver. I got it twice (few weeks then at about a year bf) both after wearing my normal bras... hated nursing ones but yeah wasnt happening lol

NM that's rubbish :( di you think its return of the dreaded morning sickness then rather than a bug?

Btw forgot to say before, congrats getting through your first day back careysmumny! And great news on the earlier leave! How exciting!
Random question - is anyone still wearing underwired bras?

Jezzz I hope not think it's stress related although there are lots of bugs going round

Think I'm gonna have to make the move to non wired soon. By mid afternoon the wires dig into my underarms :(

Ladies I think I have found my legacy wrap! It's beautiful. Considering selling my stretchy to put the money towards it! Pic from Google so excuse the babies face lol!

Thanks Blueeyes, it sucks but will be fine.

Hopefully the osteo will tell you what it is and maybe give you some exercises to do at home.

Ok reading about everyone's growing boobs is making me jealous! I want boobs! :holly:

I'm alternating between an underwire and not. Mine are still comfortable it just all depends what I feel like that day :)

Went swimming tonight. Going to go every week. I am determined to be a lot fitter this pregnancy and for the labour. Will start walking more places too.

So tired but back and hips keep waking me up. It's definitely worse at night and that's with getting comfy with a pregnancy pillow. Will be struggling to keep my eyes open by late afternoon at work again tomorrow xx

Sorry to hear you've had a rough night blueeyes! I struggled to get off to sleep for the pain in my hips last night, work definitely aggravated them again as my pain had reduced when I was off. . Only 7 more shifts to go then hopefully it will ease off again, im feeling super tired this morning though but on the upside I have a scan at 10 this morning so that's something to get me through the morning. Xxx

Ohhhh we've woken up to snow! I love it when I don't have to go anywhere but my car is horrendous in the snow! And I can't not go to to work.

Snap Durham. Henry woke at 5;50 and decided not to go back to sleep. safe to say I'm shattered :(

Oh no, Blake went back to sleep- and is still in bed now! It's me who couldn't drift off again. Back hurting, needed the loo,, thirsty and naughty cats playing tag running up and down the stairs and over the bed

It was weird last night too as OH is away. We've not slept apart since I had Blake and stayed in hospital. He's back tonight though :good:

Sorry to hear so many have had bad nights.

I asked about bras because I'm still wearing unnderwired which I know I shouldn't be. I'm a DD pre pregnancy which is quite big for my frame and I know they've gone up but I don't know what size to order and cant get to shops. I really don't like no underwired either but I suppose needs must.

Blueryes try something like this http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/291230612127?nav=SEARCH
I know It looks quite hefty but it will really help you xx

I've bought one of those Jessie and I just can't get on with it. It seems like my back is too small or hollow? I'm gutted as I wanted the support while standing at work.

Henry's now wide awake. It's daddys birthday today so we have written our cards & wrapped his creme eggs lol! Just s out to go wake him up.

Henry's a excited about the "snow". Just looks like a light dusting of flour. He'll be so excited if we do get proper snow :)
