Baby is very active today, or its moved position and I can feel it more. It's currently somewhere near my diaphragm as it feels like I've hiccuped when it kicks!
I think my baby has moved too, she was head down and I was feeling lots of movement around and above my belly button. But now all the movement is on my left side. I definitely haven't felt her as much either.
It's so cold here today, and the snow doesn't look like it's melting.
Just come back from midwife appointment. Baby has gone back to transverse. Midwife reckons its too much of a coincidence that my son was transverse throughout and this one seems to have settled there too. So although nothing is conclusive at this stage, looks like Il start planning for another section. I know its not a major deal but I have just liked to experience natural labour. Also the 2/3 weeks in hospital before the section will be a ball ache with a 6 year old!
Oh no Jessie! You worked so hard to move him/her too. At least with a planned section you know when it's going to happen, even if you will have that horrible long stay in hospital I'm sorry x
Im sorry jessie! Plan for the worse case scenario and then you never know baby may move and surprise you, my scan went well was wsitingtobeseen for an hour but there was few emergencies so didn't mind waiting and then I had a midwife who was training to scan and was in for about an hour but it meant I got to see the babies for longer and everyone's got to learn right? She was ever so nice and even threw in some free pictures for me being so patient. But both babies are transverse on top of one another. She got a really good picture of their faces which was lovely. Just finished work but got sons last appointment at his fracture clinic at 2.30 so not goi g home just yet feel tired and very achey! Xxx
Thanks both. Never mind, just one of those things, baby is happy and healthy so on the grand scheme of things it doesnt matter which way he comes out.
Sounds like your patience payed of careysmummy and you got a nice long look. Are both happy in there? So sweet that they're on top on each other all squished up lol
Oseopath has phoned to cancel as she is unwell However one of the other practitioners also treats pregnant ladies, so they can fit me in on Thursday, thankfully.
Sounds like a few of us didn't get much sleep again.
Jessiecat, thanks for the link to the support belts.Sorry to hear baby is still transverse
Congratulations on moving into tri 3 Orion, we'll be there with you soon.
Caseysmummy, probably a silly question (sorry) would you have to have a c-section anyway for twins? Or just if they are transverse?
Luckily finishing work an hour earlier today (taking some lieu time back), good job as struggling to keep my eyes open this afternoon.
Both babies we're happy in there and behaved well for the scan and co operated for the lady. Blueeyes if I don't go into labour naturally by 36 weeks, they recommend a c section, I coukd push for natural and be induced depending on babies position but I think I'll go with a c section if it is safer for babies as long as they're healthy im not too fussed which way they come out.
My sons finally been discharged from fracture clinic! So that was good news. Think I may have to have an afyernoon nap though as im totally shattered. Only 6 more shifts to go! Xxx
Jessiecat, tell me not to be so nosey, but why do you have to stay in hospital for two/three weeks prior to the section? I'm only curious as I've had two emergency cesareans and one planned and was in and out within days...thankfully xx
The toddler is being a nightmare this evening! He's completely refused his dinner, not a morsel went into his mouth, but he managed to smear it all over his clothes, the high chair and my kitchen floor. He's jumping on the sofa, covering me in toys and screaming. Is it bed time yet?

No its no problem!
Ots because of babies position, because hes sideways its dangerous to go in to labour naturally (cord / limb prolapse etc because my pelvis is empty, waters could take cord with them) nothing to do with section
Jessie, sorry to hear that baby is in the wrong position, but fav need that the baba is healthy did the MW said whether it's possible that the baby will turn again?
She said its very much still possible but agreed that it sounded like there was a reason that both babies have been that way rather than it being by chance. Also the fact that I know baby was head down at one point bit then went back would indicate that he couldn't stay that way for a reason.
Never mind I'm lucky hes healthy so if he wants to come out the sub roof that's fine.
Durham sounds like your little boy was being a handful tonight.
Jessie like you say the main thing is he is healthy
Hope everyone is ok this evening, I have come home from work and made OH's bread (enough for the rest of the week) and made a quick dinner but other than that been totally lazy. OH washed up as he said 'You look so tired, you might fall down' xx
