*****March 2019 Mummies*****

Summergurl symptoms come and go. I’m sure they’ll be back soon with a vengeance.

I am really enjoying the nausea. I’ve never had it like this in any of my previous pregnancies so I’m hoping that’s a good sign. Six days til my scan so at least then I’ll know

Morning ladies.

4+1 today and feeling OK. I've started making stuff for the baby as its wardrobe etc will be mostly handmade. I started making my first cloth nappy too.. But that's for my SIL, I'm counting it as a practice

Pregnancy brain is making every thi g harder though, I've ripped out the same 5 rows of this blanket about 6 times now

Healthy eating and 'more activity' starts today.

Anyone else rally struggling to sleep? I'm so tired but the insomnia is real!

Also feels like I'm coming down with my first pregnancy cold.. I forgot about those and how miserable they are.

About to have eggs and mushroom for breakfast! Nom nom

Wow Chase it sounds like you’re on it. I couldn’t even bring myself to concentrate on making a thank you card for my daughters teacher. I’m exhausted and feel terrible. I’d love to be able to make clothes but I’m terrible with a sewing machine and the last time I knitted anything it took me over 2 years. It was only a scarf....for a child :rotfl:

Welcome Sarah.

Can I have the 18th of March please xx
All done for you my lovely.

Wow chase you are certainly on it aren't you.

My boobs still feel tender whenever something touches them so that can only be a good thing I suppose.

DD woke me at 0640 this morning and I was not ready to get up so I gave her the iPad with some cereal and she sat there quiet as a bean for a good half hour whilst I led on the sofa trying to wake myself up

We are taking a walk into town today which takes about 40mins as I've got to pick up the maternity jeans I ordered and some new knickers, I can't stand the ones I have now that keep rolling and sitting on my scar!

Walking is going to be my activity. I love going out with DD and we are very lucky we have a huge park right on our doorstep which is just lovely to bimble around.

What's everyone else up to?

This is the worst I’ve felt!
Boobs are sore
And the nausea is CONSTANT
I’ve been sick once
But I’m fighting it as I hate being sick :-(
I feel so rough! I’m glad I have 6 weeks off work
I don’t think i’d have coped.
Salty foods are currently my best friend but I’m aware I’m not eating a lot of fresh fruit and veggies. Can’t stomach them :-(

Eat what you can right now, you can eat healthily again once the nausea eases off, don't worry about it. It's better to be at least eating something to get some energy.

We just collected the carrycot for the pushchair we already have, (got it so early because it was on sale). I got the pushchair out, dusted it off, set it all up, everything works, packed it all away and then burst into tears. It's hormones but I feel guilty for feeling overwhelmed already! I do feel loads better now though on half dose of my medication, stopped going to faint so much lol

Agreed mirror. Most days I can only stomach crisps.
Getting in fruit and veg whenever it's tolerable.
It's cooking I'm struggling with, the smells and dirty pots afterwards!
If he cooks I can eat most things haha.

Defo eat what you can ladies, it's more important you get something in you.

I've had a constant pain in my right ovary today. Almost like a period pain but I haven't had them for years. I'm slightly worried but no blood or anything.

I know everyone's symptoms are different but I'm so worried that I don't have many at all compared to you lovely lot. I wish they did scans a lot sooner that 12 weeks on the nhs! Xx

It can show up on scans as a black spot (looks like a smaller sac outside but next to baby's sac).

Vessels and things expand as there's a higher demand around that area plus your body temp in general elevates when pregnant. It's not unusual to feel twinges from either growth or blood flow.

My app said by today (week 7) my womb has doubled in size since week 4! I've had cramps so I'd believe that's true easily x

Hi Louise, welcome and congratulations. I've added you to the list.
Will keep everything crossed for a sticky one for you. How are you feeling?

Hi Louise and Sarah hope you have a happy and health 9 months.

Not had many cramps today as I have previously 3+5 today and I can wait for the nausea to kick in, thank you very much haha

Booking in with my midwife on Wednesday! I don’t think I believe it myself still haha

Hi, I got my BFP today but I haven’t had an official due date from hospital yet as I tested early, which now I’m very glad I did! This is a very exciting place to be! This is the first time I’ve had IVF so I’m just considering myself extremely lucky at this moment. Congratulations to everyone 😃
