Summertime - aw it's so emotional isn't it, such an amazing feeling. Not long until your 20 week scan! Are you going to find out the gender? Weekend away sounds lovely
I'm really not set on a name yet, I don't LOVE any. I know I have plenty of time but really can't see us being able to find one

Had my scan this morning! It all went really well, baby was behaving itself today and the sonographer was able to check everything without too much poking around! We were amazed how much detail you can see now, they really examine every inch of baby - inside and out. It's surreal how we have now seen inside the chambers of the heart and the kidneys working away!

Baby was tucked head down into my pelvis and apparently I've got an anterior placenta, which might explain why I'm still only feeling quite faint movements rather than full blown kicks. Weird that unless I need a growth scan or anything like that, we won't see the baby again until it's born!

Can you feel baby move when you put your hand on your tummy?

Summertime, its really emotional. Such a beautiful sound of baby's heartbeat!

Ah I'm glad it went well today Merry! Lovely pic I have an anterior placenta too, was actually reassuring to know as I was getting concerned about not feeling very much. Hopefully we will feel more as babies get bigger.

I feel like this is the slowest pregnancy in the world, it just doesn’t seem to be going any faster! Got my midwife apt next week and our gender scan a week tomorrow which I’m so excited about ev3n though I’m still convinced it’s a boy.

Anybody else having horrible nightmares? I had them last time but not until late in Tri 3. Not sleeping too well because of them

Haylian I've been having really vivid dreams pretty much since the start of the pregnancy, sometimes quite scary or upsetting ones that wake me up crying. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to them either, can be about anything. Are you having nightmares about anything in particular? xx

Charlotte - no, we decided to keep the gender a surprise. I haven't got any strong suspicions one way or the other yet either!

Dee - it is reassuring to know why the movements are a bit dampened. Having said that it was very wriggly all last night, think having its sleep disturbed in the morning helped!

Haylian - that's horrible, I'm not sleeping great either but more because of aching back and my usual insomnia. Maybe try things like chamomile tea and lavender baths before bed to help calm your mind down a bit?

Unfortunately they’re mainly about me losing the baby last night I lost it and had it in my hand as a perfectly formed jelly baby. It was really horrible and I woke up believing it was real and I’d lost it.

Thanks Merry, I have a few temple spa products I’m going to try tonight which should help.

Had my flu jab this afternoon, really hoping I don't end up with the flu symptoms that the nurse mentioned!

I'm 21 weeks tomorrow and feel like my bump is growing day by day. It's now very obvious, the kids at school are now confident enough to ask me without worrying about being wrong! Anyone else getting uncomfortable in bed at night? I've ordered a massive pregnancy pillow and can't wait to have a bit more support for my bump!

Hey ladies, lovely scan pic Merry!

Had my 20 week scan last Thursday and they have moved my date forward a few days to 26th Feb. If its ok Ill probably just stay mostly here! The scan was amazing, getting to see a cross section of the baby and their tiny organs! Didnt really get a clear pic as the wee scamp was wriggling like crazy but got a good one face on. Stuck to our guns and stayed team yellow. I *think* I saw a little willy when they were wriggling around and at the time the sonographer asked us did we want to know.....but could be wrong!

Im having weird dreams and one or two nightmares, its hateful! Doesnt help the whole not sleeping thing.
Although I did dream that we had a baby girl and she came out looking about 3 months old instead of newborn lol.

Yes was starting to get uncomfortable at night and so far using a spare pillow in between my legs which is helping a lot and im going to try another spare pillow around my chest and bump. I noticed Lidl have body/pregnancy pillows on sale this week for only 9.99 so i might check them out.

Well my official due date is Feb 27th but I stayed here, don't think you'll get chucked out The detail in the 20 week scan is amazing isn't it? Sure the dream won't come true though!

So I just looked down at my top and realised I have a large damp patch over my right nipple - turns out I'm leaking colostrum already! Anyone else?! It seems a bit early, wasn't expecting it until a lot later on!

Merry, I thought about pregnancy pillow. They look huge. My oh wont have any space left in bed ha ha. I tried regular pillow to rest my leg and it made big difference.

The pillow does look huge, but we've got a king size bed and the pillow and cushion arrangement I'm using at the moment is pretty bulky anyway, so decided to give it a go!

And yep, boobs have decided to start up production early - I wondered if it was some strange reaction to the flu jab but think it's just coincidence! Both leaked all over my tshirt in the night, so ordered some breast pads and going to have to look for a soft sleep bra

I was just wondering when this starts to happen, ill be looking out for it every day now lol.

Ahh lovely pics loveandpeace So glad all went well. I'm booked in for a c-section on 22nd Feb but I'm staying in marchmummies too

Merry my boobs have been leaking since I was about 16 weeks!! This is my second baby though which might make a difference in how soon it comes through.

I also bought a pregnancy pillow. It's the massive curled sausage type. To be honest I find it too bulky, even though we have a king size bed. It was about £45 too, so not cheap but I might like it more later in pregnancy and am hoping to use it for support during breastfeeding.

Dee, I use a regular pillow to rest my legs when I'm on side. It's very helpful .
I also thought about the proper sausage type pillow but they look very big
Is it soft?

Lovely pictures Merry and L&P, i rmember from last time see a lot more @ 20weeks, 3 weeks to wait until mine but time seems to be going fast now as so busy at work and with weekend events.

Did anyone get a Lidl pillow? Are they any good? I'm looking for one as belly starting to pop now, Lidl isn't too far from me so if its worth it I'll make a trip to pick one up.

My latest update is having thrush - never had it before and the burning feeling is awful, started treatment yesterday so hopefully it eases off soon.

My 3 year old is with his grandparents this week, miss him but lovely to have a more relaxing week and catch up on some sleep. xx

Girls been having weird stuff today. Got a throbbing mind pain on the left side of my face. It's not a tooth ache cause I've been to dentist and hygienist in July.
Called gp and no spaces. Then they rang me back and I got an app this afternoon. A bit scared cause havent ever had this before. I hope it's something easy to treat.

Summertime, have you got meds to treat thrush?
