*****March 2016 Mummies*****

Hi Nikki  congratulations !!

Glad everyone is doing well .... I've had a miserable couple of days with awful lower backache :( ...
And my OH who already has 4 children with his ex wife ( very complicated situation) and he's 42 has told me he's not excited at all about the situation :( , he's working away at the min so told me in a text , I flew off the handle and told him it's fine and anything baby related I won't confide in him anymore.

Everytime I do and it's a moan about being poorly, his answer is " go to the clinic then" ...

So I've booked an early scan for tomorrow privately and going with my best friend ... I have had lots of miscarriages and I think he's holding out hope for that , so if everything looks good in there he can start to get used to it and have a good long hard think

Phew that felt better to get that out xxx

Morning all, good to get it off your chest birdo! My other half wasn't on board to start with but the idea has sunk in and the "fear" they all seem to get has gone, asked about baby names the other night? = progress! Lol
Fell in the shower this morning which was a bit scary, bruised but ok. Midwife rang yesterday but I missed call so need to get in touch today and make appointment ! Exciting

Oh gosh MummyEdgar , be careful!

I know this is a bit extreme but I know a girl who slipped in the shower , must have banged her head , seemed fine and went to her mums for dinner the next day ... Then was found dead by her children the following ...

I know it's a bit granny'ish but can you get a non slip mat?

I'm sure in the end OH will be fine , but his ex wife is another thing , I guess he's frightened about his children's reaction l they're not allowed to see me , they live 300 miles away and are not allowed in our home because I'm here , so it's a messy situation I'm afraid x

Hi Birdo

Im sorry to hear you have such a stressful situation in this moment where you need lots of support. Im really glad your best friend is going for the scan with you. Please let us know how the scan goes and remember to recognize your needs too Ill check in for your update :-)

Thanks T84 the bleeding continues but I had a check up today and have a beautiful picture of where i can make out the head as they zoomed in for me. Again they just explained I'm super sensitive with all the hormones in that area, but everything is going well.

I always imagined pregnancy was much more enjoyable, but then we have to remember we are only human and its 1st tri week 8 !! when i think i try to be super women well that doesn't exist I'm now adjusting to just rolling with it day by day. However with a 16 month old too, i can imagine its challenging for you, inspirational!!

Ugh what is it about 6 weeks and morning sickness?! I was fine up until yesterday then hit 6 weeks and the nausea and sickness started with a vengeance. I've been working nights so not sure whether it feels worse due to that. I'm starving all the time so I eat and then I feel sick and throw up! It's reassuring in some ways as I didn't feel pregnant before but I'm not liking the whole day thing!

Aww emcb I feel your pain! Although fortunately I am not being sick yet but I have the hunger and nausea. With my first baby the sickness didn't actually start until week ten so I'm hoping it holds off til then! X

I feel awful! .... I brought myself some lollies last week and now it's so potent it's making me I'll but they're so beautiful I can't bare to throw them away .

I have been exhausted all day and then feel nauseous at night .... I forgot how much it sucks the life out of me x

Does anyone else feel rotten ?

I'm so frightened of fainting and I keep feeling on the verge .. Only ever fainted once before and that was in tri 1 with my DD .

Im also starting to feel nauseous all day getting worse as the day goes on ... And I'm frightened of being sick ... Doh xx

Yeah!!!! It took me half an hour to get my toddler up from his nap and down stairs yesterday as felt so sick/dizzy every time I stood so had to keep lating down on his bedroom floor whilst trying to change him! Lol. Have thrown up a few times now but feel nauseas most of the time and found when I'm starting to get hungry I feel dizzy too. It's all fun and games being pregnant! Dreading returning to work in Sept after the summer hols :/

I feel rougher than a witches tit! Lol. Visiting grandad in the nursing home at the mo and the smell of urine is not helping!

But I feel luckier than a lottery winner. Never got to this stage before so am happy as can be!

Starting to feel the nausea now! Popped to the shops with hubby DH and DD earlier when the nausea kicked in and I was suddenly starving...we had to go and get a McDonald's as I just couldn't wait! (We never eat McDonald's!) Poor DD is only 14 months and ended up with chips and nuggets  she was delighted mind! Xx

I'm back in work on Monday and think I might have to tell them because I may need to lie down lol!! X

After having an early scan yesterday I now feel confident enough to finally join this thread ;) I'm due around 13th March :D

Feel pretty awful too. Thrown up a few times now and having constant nausea. It's much worse than it was with my first and am finding looking after LO quite tricky - especially the smell of dirty nappies!

Urghh I feel everyone's pain , congratulations Juice:) xxx

Hi

Dropping out of this thread I had a miscarriage friday afternoon despite having the heartbeat on a previous scan. Totally too confident that everything was going to be oK after that, we feel like such fools as we had to un tell our families. Big learning number 1 just to keep our mouths sealed ughh how incredibly difficult. The bleeding that started with spotting over a week ago, then stopped, then returned and got worse over two final days. Sadly this time was not meant to be we keep trying :-)

Take care on your journeys, I wish you healthy and happy pregnancies, on my way to yoga to find some peace ! xox

So sorry to hear your news. Hope you will be back again soon xx
