Just posted another update, she's finally had some answers! About time!

I agree with the others I can't understand why they're not doing any more to speed things up it's not fair, they intervened through medical reasons and shouldn't expect too much at 37 weeks he simply may not have been ready! So hopefully you'll meet him today, however he arrives I do think they should look at the drip or breaking waters before a section is considered. Your body just needs some extra help, soon as my waters were broken(every time) it really kick started things! You're doin well , we're all anxiously waiting! today IS the day!!!

I thought I would update you myself as Kumber is sleeping.

Just been examined and there is no change, no chance of breaking my waters. She said my cervix is so far back she can barely reach it. I have no idea why things are going backwards when it was progressing so well. I'm exhausted and fed up, I feel like I've failed. It will be a section today. Kumber will let you know when he's here.

You haven't failed hun, you've done fantasticly well and been so brave when things haven't gone how you hoped. I'm so, so proud of you lovely and you should be too

My cervix was also quite far back so maybe this is common with cervix like ours? Your labour sounds similar to mine but she was able to break my waters even though my cervix was literally closed! You haven't failed because you have to have a section sadly these things just happen! You have done amazingly well this far & your going to continue to do that! I honestly don't know why your contractions have just suddenly stopped though, mine seemed to ease off when i got to the pushing stage i honestly could have cried when they told me to push as hard as i could at next contraction & the bloody things just seemed to stop! I would have done everything possible to have stopped intervention but they wouldn't risk leaving me to push without help as his hb dropped so they wanted him out!

It will be all over soon & you will have your gorgeous little boy

You haven't failed at all... It's just natures way, you never know what's going to happen in childbirth, we all have these visions of how we want it to go but reality is our babies and our bodies will do what it wants and we can't control it.

I can understand why your so fed up, you have done amazing and now instead of thinking you have failed just concentrate on the fact that yor going to meet your beautiful little boy today.

I can't wait to see the pics!

All the ladies above are right. You did amazingly, most of us don't have long labors like you have been put through the last few days and still struggle. You held out like a real trooper and having a CS is no shame.

You have not failed at all! In my eyes your Wonder Woman the things you've faced during your pregnancy, pregnancy and related and other, it hasn't been easy for you.

It's not your fault how nature decides to bring your baby boy in to the world, but that's just the thing your bringing a baby boy in to the world! How is that a failure!!!!!!!
