The are waiting for midwife to examine Amy and insert the pessary!

UPDATE 15.32
Amy is 1-2cm dilated but cervix still long and tubular. They have inserted the first pessary.

Just got the following text
Hey hun am off monitor now and they will examine me again at 9 n thats wen they will insert second pessary if i need it but she said i mite not need another one. Xx
She is off for a walk!
UPDATE 2.48am
Tried sendin this at 11.55 but only just realised it never sent. ...Sorry its late. Just had midwife in. Providing tht its safe t do so they will examine me n if needed put another pessary in before 2am. She says tht way they can still break waters at 8 in mornin. She said one midwife had 6 ppl in at one time as it has been so busy. Xx
UPDATE
This is the latest update.....Been on monitor and they wont give me another pessary because its showing that im havin regular contractions. So looks like gettin waters broke in mornin. She said the midwife tht examined me wen i got here said i was borderline for gettin waters broke then, so was near enough already ready. Xx

There givin me brekky now n wantin t break waters at 7.30 xx

Still havent had waters broke as no rooms. But shud b in next hour. They also couldnt do it earlier as babys heartrate kept droppin but its fine now. X

Yeyyyy in me room now. N got my own midwife who i see at my routine check ups. So happy. Seen her in corridor and she asked if she could hav me lol xx

They have broken amy's waters.

Amy is now 4cm and on gas and air

Amy is now 7-8cm dilated! Amazing! Shouldn't be long now

BABY HERE. Got a text to say boy born at 23.19 weighing 7lb12 oz
