Long termers 6 months or more

Yup cd1 today cycle 25 hello. No surprise. Not one bit bothered...It's just the way. I'm just not made to have children it seems.
Fake plastic womb it seems !

Alexis I'm so sorry. I will be joining you after the weekend I think....usual signs from me at this point in my cycle.

I hope 2019 brings us some luck. I don't think I can even remember the last long termer that got a BFP. Xx

Sugarpop just did ...She had been trying like 5 years or longer!

I hope you don't join me ! I've the worst cramp now. I know my body just can't do it. I really feel like soemthing tries and mid cycle brown tinged cm happened again for say 3rd time in 2 years and I just have a feeling. I just think it's bad enough to know your not preggo without the cramping happening . I think I can safely never worry about having to take the pill ever again !

Hi everyone

Can I please join in with this topic please?? I'm back on the forum for the first time since 2 years ago, I was here when I was ttc my first baby, me and my fella are currently trying for a second child, however I suffer from pcos and it took a while to get pregnant, I'm hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction please?

Hi lovely, welcome.

I have pcos too and trying for my first. Good to hear you have had success! If you don’t mind me asking, how long were you trying the first time round and did you fall naturally?

:poke: Heya ladies!!

Seems like I can't stay away from this forum lol call it the hopeful TTC'r in me

I've started posting over on the IVF thread ~fist pumps Alexis~ as we are starting that journey on the 22nd of January with our first consult.

It works a bit different over in SA as in the UK - you, for starters, pay everything out of your own pocket and your gyni handles everything as far as I know :oooo: then again, at this stage I don't know much

I can't believe it's been this long since we first started trying, lol, if I had known I would never have stressed about BC hehehe anyway, it all works out in the end.

So, how have you all been doing????

<3:love:

Hi ladies! Been away for a few days getting my head into looking after myself, and doing some research on IVF/ICSI. Watched a documentary on it and it just left me feeling so deflated that only 1 in the 4 couples followed had a baby. It feels it does just come back to nature. Anyway I am thinking I have not ovulated again this month. My OPKs have had lines (hardly any faint) which are quite strong but not as strong as or darker continuously since CD8, I’m now CD17. I have had so much on these past few weeks and such a shock with the IVF/ICSI news that I’m hardly surprised. Disappointed though as I’d love to hit lucky. X

Ugh! Tell me about it! W're starting the IVF journey in January and we have one shot at this as the financial implication makes it too difficult to do two or three rounds consecutively. That means if it doesn't work I'll have to save up again and wait a year :wall2: no pressure, right??

The awesome thing about this forum is that we're all here to support one another, it makes this journey much less lonely and the positive attitudes really boost my mood especially when I'm feeling down and out about it all.

This forum is a God-send!

Hi ladies, hope you’re all well?

No idea what’s going on this cycle and whether I ovulated or not but we had so many disasters with the house we are doing up neither of us were in the mood for basically the whole of the potential window so I’m not expecting anything.

Alexis, what’s happening with your spotting? Did it stop?

Hi it stopped ...was not even spotting I guess. Just 2 episodes of brown tinged cm. I've been in Amsterdam all wknd its been a good distraction. I know I won't be pregnant so just preparing for next cycle and trying to get back on a healhty kick. Been in denial about IVF starting in new year. I really believed deep deep down it would have just happened, even at the very last minute!

Hope your all doing okay

I've been in denial about IVF too...but there's no point in ignoring it anymore, so I feel like we're sharing a boat on this one.

HUGS ~ I so badly want a bfp for you Alexis xxxx

How are you ladies doing today? I'm chilling at home building the motivation to move and get the last bits done I need to do house work wise I didn't do yesterday

Hi  nice to meet you!

I tried for almost 2 years for my son, no naturally unfortunately it wasn't happening i had 5 months worth of Clomid after eventually getting referal to gynae, however I had a miscarriage and a bad reaction to clomid  I was put on letrozole metformin and trigger shots which worked the second time round and I had my son :)

This time is my second try I've just been going with the flow really with my fella since I know it won't happen but I have doctors appointment Tuesday to try ask for a referal again to gynae

This is true, I got my BFP a week and a half a go. No idea how but it’s a bloody miracle. Probably because it has changed my life plans a little! But ladies if this can happen for me it can happen to anyone! I have been off the pill for 8years.

I have my fingers crossed for all of you and hope that my long journey (feels far from over. The cramps are doing nothing to ease my mind!) gives some Hope x

That's amazing news sugarpop! I'm so sorry if you posted on this thread your BFP and I have missed it. I do my best to keep up but we all lose track from time to time.

I guess it's true to say that where there is life there is always hope....you must be living proof of this! Xx

Welcome back Kat! Lovely to see you. How exciting that you have the ball rolling with IVf. I can't imagine the added stress of the financial side as well....it sucks that you have to load up even more worry

The success rates now are improving all the time so we have everything crossed for you that once is all it takes!

Remember that same lie we all got told at school.lmfao x

Thanks hun I'm testing 3 days early but ibe tested before and it just hurts to see the stark white when hurts all over again when AF arrives so I vowed not to test early again I pee on opks instead lol. So nervous to test tomorrow and the only reason I'm going to is the fact I feel so different to other cycles and I've more hope this cycle because we changed things up and we used conceive plus just preying it's positive would bring so much happiness after all the heart ache we have had recently give my dad something to really look forward to and make an awesome surprise at Christmas. If I'm pregnant I'll have to tell my twin tomorrow and one of our friends she's sort of a cousin she's from dad's partners family ( dad's partner passed away) and she's in Australia till after Christmas so she made me promise on Wednesday because she and my sister and the only family that really know we are trying then the rest of the family can wait so I can surprise them. This will be fun trying to keep it in at the family wedding tomorrow but least I know if I can have a few drinks or not

@vintage just make sure we are first to know! Lol

I will be straight on the forum I'm testing soon as I wake up as I'm up 7: 30am don't have to leave till 9:30 am but I will have to get a bath in the morning because oh is still in the bath now and if I jump in after him I won't sleep till like 4 am lol so I'll be waiting for the test as the bath runs so soon as I'm in the bath I should know and I'll be straight on here. I so hope it is because I know it's not as long as some of you ladies we are going into our 7th month and 9th cycle and I'm getting scared that my body just can't do it so will be a huge relief as well as majorly exciting and scary

Welcome back lovely!

Me and DH are starting our ivf journey in January too! Nhs give no funding in our area so we’ve got to pay for everything too.

Dh thinks that it’s a guaranteed success and I keep telling him that it’s not.

Glad to see you’re still your optimistic self! Xx

Bfn this morning and I used my frer

Aww vintage I'm so gutted for you.

I hope you can drown your sorrows and dance the night away at the wedding cos I know that's exactly what i would be doing

This has got to be the cruelest game ever
