I’m so glad that you are so positive. Your time will come, you are completely right! Fingers crossed it’s rhe next cycle! It would be so nice to have long timers getting out of these threads!

Ladies I can't stop shaking and crying.

I had one test left in my drawer.....one....that I promised I wouldn't take until I was late or had a cheapie positive. But after vintage tested this morning I got that poas urge and thought sod it...if I take it then the temptation will be gone as I'll have nothing to pee on.

This happened.....

Oh hunni!!!!! This is AMAZING news I thrilled for you!!!!!! Xxxxxx

Thanks Kat I'm just crossing everything it's a sticky bean. Totally terrified after 19 months and not a whisper of a line. Going to get a docs appt booked tomorrow I think that might help make it feel a bit more real. Xx

Hopefully speaking from experience will help here. As you know, we tried much longer than you and not even a whiff of a bfp in that time. It was like my body wasn't even trying. Then suddenly after everything had gone wrong for so long, it was like my body decided now was the time and that was that. I coped exceptionally well in pregnancy. Even when I was overdue, I was more active than plenty of people I know. I really did do nearly everything I do normally and had so few symptoms that for the most part I didn't even feel pregnant!!

You can't help letting your mind wander so take each day as it comes and see each appointment as a small milestone. That helped me a lot. We paid for a private scan at 8 weeks which really helped with reassurance and wasn't all that expensive. You've waited so long for this and pregnancy should be such a special time. I would hate for it to be clouded by anxiety and worry after all you've been through. Believe this is your time now and you deserve it.

Thanks moomin that's really helpful. Off to try and ring docs now in a quiet room at work. I'm hoping I don't have too many obvious symptoms for a little while at least only cos I don't want to tell before 12 weeks and have a Xmas in retail to survive first.

If all goes ok 12 weeks will be around my birthday time so would be great as planning visit down to my family then anyway so can tell them then.

Hubby doesn't seem bothered about an early scan but I want to maybe try and book one before Xmas as if u can get one about the 21st that will be just about 8 weeks....and I would love to be able to enjoy Xmas feeling reassured a bit more x

I cant recommend an early scan enough - as you say it will give you that reassurance <3 From finding out to 12 weeks is literally THE longest time ever.

Groupon do some deals, but for quickness Window to the Womb are really good <3

Is 8 weeks the earliest I can have an early scan ladies? I know a few long termers who have had early losses have had super early ones x

I always keep an eye on this thread, as I remember my time LTTTC so well and am always hoping for good news for you ladies, and I'm so thrilled for you Nikki!! It is so hard to relax, but just believe if it is your time, its your time and it will work out.
I would recommend waiting for 8 weeks for a scan - you can go earlier, but often they can't see much, and its more worrying sometimes. I went at six weeks, she was slightly unsure, and then I had 2 weeks of total worry before I could go back at 8 weeks which is just like torture! I will never go that early again!

Thanks @Mandy hopefully this is it for us

Thanks @gemsy....Will need that advice. The week before Xmas would be just 8 weeks for us at the end of that week so that's why I'm toying with a scan then to reassure me a bit x

Hope all is ok Sarah. Could just be something simple like an infection....try not to stress too much. Best place to be is at the docs where they can solve the problem x
