do u think ppl lose the 'surprise' factor at the end?

i am so impatient but do wanna wait until delivery..

wats a girl to do?

wat have u dun?

I'm really impatient and love colour so didn't want to buy neutral stuff so I found out at first opportunity! It was still a surprise cos I thought I'd have a boy! If you want to wait until delivery stay strong because it will be worth it in the end :D

I choose to find out for the same reasons as skatty. I really dont want my little girl to be in white and yellow when she is first born and now i get to amuse my self when we move to Hungary on Friday by buying dresses while Richard is at work lol :rotfl:

i have always prefered a surprise. i did ask with my third though but she had her legs crossed and im glad she did.

nothing can compare tothe end bit when you say 'what have i got?' and the midwife or whoever says 'you've got a ....'

its lovely.

aaaawww... thats wat i want.. i want everything to be a surprise...
but um so bloody impatient
i cud still buy yellows . greens etc

the thing to do is buy a few white things. you don't need a wardrobe full. Then when its born other epole will but you the right colour and you can have fun going out and buying things too.
It all adds to the loveliness of having a baby.

I love babies in bright colours like red and orange and funky stripes and stuff but nearly everything for a new born is pink, blue, white or yellow :(

Im happy i know, i guess for some people its nice to have the surprise but i dont think when im in labour and when im close to my due date i would be looking forward to finding out the sex...i think all my concentration will be on looking forward to being with my baby. Someone said to me before i found out the sex, "dont find out, when your going into labour theres nothing else to look forward to" excuse me??!?!?! only the main factor that my baby will be with me, nothing to look forward to my arse, its the stupidist comment i have ever heard!!

so in my opinion im happy i know the sex but i can also see why some people want the surprise, especially if u already have children of 1 sex then i guess it will be more of a surprise if its different :D

my friend hates surprises so shes found out with all of hers! Everyoes differnet i guess.

I had to find out with zack and this one, though this one wouldnt let me :x ...I wouldnt have been able to wait 9 months. I cant wait for anything lol

We dont get many nice surprises in life, so we dont want to know
Got a few white bits, not a lot as I have been told not to buy too much coz everyone buys prezzies

We bought my sis in law some lovely red things when my niece was born, she was a surprise and she looked gorgeous in red and she was really dark haired

I do have moments of thinking "oh I wish I knew", but I think I will hold out!! xx

I've just found out that we're having a little boy. :cheer:

I wanted to know cos it's still a surprise now or if you wait til delivery and i think at delivery i'm gonna be so pre-occupied with so many other different things.

x

I can't wait to find out! Realy hoping for a little boy this time, keep looking at all the blue clothes in the shops and hoping. I didn't find out with my first cos she was crossing her legs and it was great getting that suprise at the delivery. I found out with my second and although it was good being prepared with all the pink clothes it wasn'r as exiting but i'm just to impatiant.

i didnt find out the sex with Dior but i did with Harley, i think its much better to find out :D

I found out the sex with Nathan and im glad i did :).

I think it's better coz you can go and buy blue or pink clothes before the birth instead of sticking to neutral colours :)

Also you still have a suprise when you meet your LO for the first time :D

Rachel xx

I was so adamant that I would wait but now we are counting the days to the scan so that we can find out. We are finding it very hard with boys names and so if we can find out earlier we can have a shortlist ready! We both have a really strong feeling it's a girl anyway but if it is a boy we will need a name! lol

I could'nt find out with Luke as the hospital I went to would'nt tell us!
this time I dont no I want to but my OH is unsure.
I like supprises but also impatiant

I know im gonna be sooooo annoyed if baby has legs crossed at scan!

We really wanna know, simply for clothes and things because even tho you can buy neutral clothes they always seem to look like they are more boyish or girly if you know what I mean?!

Each to their own is what I say, there are pros and cons to both

i hope it has its legs crossed Jaidy. I think you should have a surprise. :cheer:

I have asked the sex with all 3 and this is the first baby that hasn't cooperated, must say that i am looking forward to the suprise now :D xx
