Hey Jenna,

I would do a clear blue digital if I were you. Those cheapy ones aren't as sensitive and I remember not getting a line on them for ages when I was pregnant even though I had really positive results with clear blue digi's. I know they are more expensive but maybe you could make this one exception?

I think if the doc wont do a test i will buy a CB digital. I just want to know now, dont want to wait anymore. But might aswell see if he'll do a free test first hehe

Ok im back.

Right so i told him the story from start to finish. He said i could be up to 20 weeks pregnant

Basically he said with my cycles being 41days it could have been too early to see anything when i had my scan. He said if we took the day of the bleeding when i had m/c im still really really late.

He wanted to give me a blood or urine test and then said 'you dont like needles do you? what about a scan then?' I was so shocked that he just came out with that. Anyway we discused it and he said if i did a blood test i would still need a scan to tell how far i was so he called the EPU and tried to book me in for a scan. He was on the phone for 10mins and couldnt get through so we ended up making a deal.

So im giving them a urine sample tomorow which will be tested and ill get the results wednesday. If its positive ill get a scan that day to tell me the dates. If its negative hes going to investigate why and look into why im not pregnant hopefully.

He was confused as to why i didnt go to my last docs apointment and sounded really anoyed. I explained that i had the scan and were told i had a m/c so i didnt go to the midwife apointment and expected the hospital to call my GPs and tell them the ins and outs of what happend. He said he did aswell and couldnt understand why they didnt. He called the EPU and asked why and they said they didnt do any tests so thats why they didnt give me results Dont know why they didnt explain the scan though.

But OMFG he thinks its possible that im 20weeks!! I dont know why i find that funny but i do. I cant possibly can i? I mean im fatter and everything but faint ++'s?? I know people who are pregnant late on can some times get negative pregnancy tests but i cant be

oh i hope you are hun. Oh im all excited hearing that now. i hope everthing goes well and that you manage to get a scan. Lol you'd just be finding out your pregnant and get to know what the babys gender would be already .

Id love to be 20 weeks but im thinking the urine test will come back negative as it would be devistating going on wednesday thinking 'omg im 20weeks' just to find that im pregnant at all I feel sick with worry, keep thinking i had 2 bottles of wine the week end i found out i had a m/c. 'ing it comes back +++ anyway. He was a really nice man, he made it very easy for us to talk about it.

He didnt examine my belly though, i thought he would. He just asked what cycle day i was on and about the scan and then if id gained weight.

did he feel your tummy? as they can usually feel the uterus
that would be great if you are 20 weeks god u will skip first tri and second
