I quite liked it  I'd heard about how foul it tastes but it's really not that bad! :cheer: Yay!

Is anyone else taking it? I'm not sure how much I'm meant to drink so I'm going for 2 cups a day at the moment :)

I haven't tried it, but I think you can have 4 cups a day?!

It's great that you like it though!! :cheer: xx

Yeah, I just read someone elses thread about it in the 'Ask a Mum' section....think I should have bought more than one box  Oh well, if I have to keep nipping into town to buy more tea that's all good - the walking will keep me active and will hopefully help me have a short labour too  So it's all good! :cheer:

TBH if I were you I'd go over to the tablets and build them up reasonably quickly from 36/37 weeks. You've left the tea a bit on the late side as its meant to be taken from about 32-33 weeks and built up to 6 cups a day by 36/37 weeks. The tea is the weaker form so takes longer to get into your system. Tablets would be better now.

I think its about time I had this tea, where can you get it from??

Glad you like it hun :cheer: I completely forgot to start taking the tablets when I should have - think it's a bit late now!

I know I'm a bit late with it, but I figured it's better late than never :)

analiza: I got mine from Holland and Barrett, it was £1.19 for 20 tea bags.

Mildly: You're up late tonight missy! You okay?

ive been taking the tablets too because i think the tea tastes rank

At your point of pregnancy the tablets are better. You need to be taking the tea from a few weeks earlier.

Any good health food shop will stock them.

I drink the tea and have since 35 wks(off the info i've read) was going to start it earlier but my midwife said not to start it befor that at my 32 wk check so i never

I broke all the rules :) I got some 'contraction tea' from a pharmacy here that specialises in herbal stuff. Supposed to drink a litre throughout the day but I drank 1 litre within an hour  and the next day did it again and then had her the following day ;)

Wouldn't recommend! But I liked the taste :)

Good to hear that it tastes okay, I keep being told that it's horrible. Still a while until I need to start on it though.

I'm definately a late starter with the tea. I started drinking it two days ago, 3 cups a day, and my BHs have gone nuts. They are so much more frequent now and actually a bit painful so must be stronger. And the best thing is I really like the tea. I'm going to buy another box to take with me into hospital as its supposed to be good for you afterwards too.

I think I might up it to six cups from tomorrow (am having my haircut this afternoon and don't want anything to happen while I'm having my highlights put in :rotfl: ).
