So ive just posted a new thread but thought i would copy it on here to see if you ladies might have some idea what could be happening.

I apologise in advance if TMI.*

I started brown spotting 3 days ago. Since then i have had what i thought was my AF as blood was more red and i was having to use pads. Although when i went to the toilet and wiped there was never anything there.*
So i have been having what i think was AF and this is the 3rd day but the bleeding has almost stopped. Also since i started spotting 3 days ago this seems to be the lightest AF ive ever had.
I have also not had the usual cramping and body ache like i would normally would have.*

Im just basically wondering if anyone has experienced what they though was AF and turns out to be inplantation bleeding?*

My brain is doing overtime!

How are your periods usually? Does it seem like the type of prior you would have in anyway. Have you done a test?

How are your periods usually? Does it seem like the type of prior you would have in anyway. Have you done a test?

Normally my periods are every 29 days. Havent done a test yet.

I've read loads on the subject where women thought that it was AF (and almost all of them report that in hindsight it just didn't seem like the normal flow of things) but it turned out to be IB.

I would wait maybe a day or two and then do a FRER. You should be able to get an accurate result then.

If you don't mind me asking, how do you confirm O?
The reason I ask is that there is another avenue for a wonky AF - if you experienced an anovulatory cycle you would have a breakthrough bleed which is considerably lighter than usual because it's not actual AF.

I'm keeping my FX that this is IB and that you will soon announce your surprise BFP!!!

Af is still here.. but not half the woman she normally is.. taken a test this morning but BFN.

Laura we seem to have had the exact same thing happen to us last week. My 'bleeding' has ended now. I had brown spotting (almost nothing at all) for 3 days, one day of mild cramps with a little red blood then the next day cramps with no blood or spotting at all which was so unusual for me. I did another test, it was negative and my temperature has dropped after being erratic. Strange I'll see you in the July thread
