Kuku, great news re the scan

Kanga, we've not told DS yet. Will tell him after the next scan. Im pretty sure he'll be very excited once he understands the concept. And he'll defo want a brother my SIL is pregnant too (18wks) and he either doesnt care or doesnt understand it all as he shows no interest. So once we've told him our news i'll sit down with him each week and show him baby's growth progress. Hopefully it'll make it more real for him and not a big shock once baby's here

Went to John Lewis today looking for a new rug (boring...) and popped over to the pushchair section for some inspiration (yay!). Quite like the look of the Silver Cross Pioneer. It comes in lovely colour choices and the shopping basket underneath seems quite big. Now all i have to do is convince DH who is adament we get a cheap 2nd hand one....

I did like that one also but found it very heavy. I'm going to go out in the sales and get a travel system then. Il only be 16 weeks but feel it's a good time to buy xx

It's just blood, went to a&e and they were useless, told me I need to wait until Monday for a scan. So now I'm in limbo until then.

Kanga I had a private dating scan and they gave me a due date of 4th June, but obviously I'll still go by the NHS one which I have on the 19th.

Redhead so sorry your going through this as the ladies have said though it's not always bad news, I know someone that bled every month heavy up until 5 months and baby is fine. Rest all you can.

I'm at the doctors next week so I'll ask about the rhinitis x

How early have you ladies found your babies heart beat on a doppler? I tried today at 9 weeks I can't find it. Also not sure do you do it on a full bladder, what's the dos and donts?

I have found the heart beat this time at 9wks but this is my 3rd pregnancy so know where to look. My first I was 11wks before I found it. I find it is fine with an empty bladder and that baby is generally higher up than I expected. Key is patience and moving the probe round in a circle very slowly without moving it off you. I found it easily 1st time this time but it has been harder at different times since to find it and keep it, sometimes it is super faint. I have to have the volume as loud as it goes it hear it xx

How many weeks will all you ladies be when you get your scans? I will be booking mine privately this time and was wondering when to book for. The MW said I could get one at 10 weeks but that sounds a bit early to me?

Bunny I've wrote the weeks by the scan day on the front page most are between 12+2 and 12+6 weeks xx

Not good news, they can see the baby but it stopped at 6 weeks, just got to wait to miscarry, they will book me in for another scan next week. This is the hardest thing I've ever been through.

So sorry to read this. Iv been checking for an update and gutted to see its bad news. Life is so hard and cruel sometimes. I hope your be ok and have lots of people around you who will help you through this difficult time. Wish you all the luck in the world for your next pregnancy xx
