Jumperoo - are they worth it?

We brought one today and put Alfie in it for 5 minutes then he needed to go down for a nap. He loved it so much he wouldn't stop staring at it while I was trying to get him to sleep so I had to take it our the room lol.

I was thinking of getting my LO a jumperoo as I don't really like walkers but was wondering if they are worth the money/hype.

He has a mamas & papas seat from 3months but he is still too small for it & can't sit unaided in it yet. What age are the jumperoo from?

I ordered it today. Got it for £70 and will try and get some back by selling it afterwards.

Bee is 5 months but I'm not sure of official age its suitable from.

They can go in it from when they can hold their head up themselves so bee should be fine. We used to have to a cushion under Matthews feet cos he couldn't reach the floor even on the lowest setting. Hope she enjoys it! X

Just wondering if I should hold off buying one for a few months & save the money? No point getting one until he can use it & the money I was going to spend on it could either be saved or go on something else.

We have a mamas & papas seat they can sit in from 3 months which he is now, tried him in it & he is still a little too small to sit safetly in it himself unaided- he does hold his head up & can independently hold it for 10 seconds but not long enough to be able to use the seat or a jumperoo just yet!

Think my mind is made up to purchase one though as everyone who has commented on here there LOs seem to love it

My lo hated the bumbo didn't have a jumperoo but a walker that could lock off the wheels she loved that.

Caleb has one and goes absolutely bonkers in his...only issue is he now always just wants to jump whether he's in it or not but it's quite funny!

We got ours secondhand on gumtree in case he wasn't that fussed for £40. x

Mine should be arriving today, have cleared away the baby gym (Bee rolls out of it in a second now) so we have space for it.

How sad that I am very excited about it!

Bet she hates it

I couldn't wait to get it up! I've got loads of videos of him bouncing around everywhere. I was a little apprehensive that he would like it but he just loves being upright and seeing everything. Let us know how you get on!

Jackson wasnt fussed in his, but then thats because he liked the walker so he could move around more.

But yeah they are good buys, Ive known more babies to love them than not.

Pretty sure Jackson was like 4.5-5m in his walker so im sure bee will be fine :)

They are so much fun and a god send for keeping my son entertained when he was younger. My nephew currently has ours, but not too sure if i'm in a hurry to have it back purely because of the space it takes up!

They are a bit of a size aren't they?

Thankfully we live in a much bigger place now but we couldn't get one for James as we simply didn't have the room.

I so want one now !!! I'm moving home soon so don't know how big my room will be to accodomate it! I've been gifted a swing which takes up a lot of room but my LO likes it. If we were staying where we are now we would have room for the swing & this! I know I'm sad but I like to have his things out so wouldn't want to put them away you can tell I'm a first time mom
