Hi ladies
Please ca I join your group.

I'm 9+2 with twins !!!!
My little boy will be 1 next month.

Estimated due date is 23rd jan but have been told I won't go past 9th jan.

I had a miscarriage after Mother's Day and had 1 period and conceived again.
I paid for a private confirmation scan which is how I know I'm having twins.

Hey Milly,
Sorry to hear about your high risk results. I had cvs last time round and it went very smoothly, it was a big sore but bearable and I got results in 3 days. Hope all goes well xxxx

Hi leanne I'm 11 weeks pregnant with twins due 13 Jan but was told I would have them end of December really nervous as I've already got 3 kids at home, how are u doing I'm really sick at the mo and gone off all foods, already been on a drip but keep taking one day at a time , hope all is well with you. There's also another lady in this thread who's having twins must be something in the air lol.��

Hi louise 38.

Feel rotten, really sick and tired. With my little boy I was only sick at night before bed, but this time it's all day every day..
And heartburn - ive never had that before. My sense of smell Is really heightened aswell :-/.
I've only got the one at home but he's not 1 till next month and is teething and has serious seperation anxiety so it's fun and games.
We will be staying team yellow again he he.
Can't wait for first scan at the hospital in 2 weeks.

Deffo a small world louise, I'm in Meir but from Cheadle originally.

Thanks Lozza. Hearing positive outcome stories and remembering that the stats are in our favour is helping me get through the wait. I hope mine goes as smoothly as yours tomorrow.

Well I had my 12 week scan yesterday at 11+1, measuring 10+4 so being re scanned in 2 weeks on the 8th july to check dates but got to see baby dancing and kicking and waving they don't do any measurements until the 20 weeks scan here so as far as we are aware its all ok

Milly, I hope your CVS goes well, I'm sending good vibes, my mum had to have tests when having my little brother and she said it was a little sore afterwards but she didn't find it anywhere near as bad as she thought it would be! Big hugs chuck xx

Thought I'd pop by and let you all know I had my 1st scan today! Good beating heart on the monitor, the lady said they're already quite a wriggler! She said my EDD is January 12th - so 3 days behind what I had (I'm 11+1 today, not 11+4).

It all feels real now, I was really expecting them to say 'Sorry, there's nothing in there! You've imagined the whole thing!', but nope, I am actually pregnant and having a baby!!

Thanks for all the kind words.

They have now combined my age and bloods to the nuchal measurement and the ratios are not good at all. Very high risk for Downs, Edwards and Paus syndromes.... the last two are very serious and most babies don't make full term or live for more than a few days.

We've been warned to expect the worse following the CVS tomorrow... won't get results until Tues.

Sorry to bring a downer to the thread. Please send me all ur positive thoughts.

Thanks so much ladies.

It went as well as it could today....it hurt...but was quick and the people were lovely. Its a waiting game now...should hear on Tues. Am quite sore this eve and not been able to do much...another gentle day tomorrow I think.
