Good luck today Nat.....can't wait to see pictures. Ours is on Saturday.

I used an online calculator to get mty EDD as 19th Jan (based on LMP of 14th April) but my midwife makes it 18th Jan for some reason. Not that 1 day matters really. I was 3 weeks early with my son, so expecting to be 2 weeks overdue this time haha

In theory I am now 8 weeks and baby the size of a raspberry! My early scan is tomorrow, 1.5 days left to go!

Ceecee my LMP was 14th April too, I have a very consistent 29 day cycle though so that put my EDD to 20th Jan (I used the Pregnology calculator)

Thats why I made my EDD the 19th Nat as my cycles are bang on 28 days. Anyway, it's not that important, they may change me at the 12 week scan anyway.

Today is a better day for me. I am not feeling as sick as I have been.

can I ask how are people coping with sickness? Im queasy from the time i wake up until i go to bed.

Hello ann, congratulations and welcome lovely!
Regards to sickness.... I need to eat little and often, mainly weetabix, toast and biscuits is all I'm eating. If I go and hour or two without food I feel so sick again.

I was sick yesterday morning and although it was hideous at the time I was smiling all day because it made it feel more real luckily my sickness seems to be the same as last time- as soon as it's over I feel fine.

Scan is on Saturday and can't wait x

ive been feeling the same ann. Ive just been trying to eat little and often and only plain foods. Ive found oatcakes to be quite good. Im gonna make a batch of ginger biscuits tonight coz ive heard they help (I have to make my own coz im gluten free). Also drink lots of water. I love feeling sick coz it makes me feel pregnant

@ scan yesterday they put me at 7w 4d, I made myself 7w 2d and going by LMP they said I was 7w 3d so all in all dates seem spot on.

EDD is currently between 18-20th Jan.

The piccies areamazingly clear actually. I didn't get one of James that early (had my 7w scan with him at EPU) but don't remember seeing much?

I had scan through tummy and I must confess to having a wee about half an hour before (my bladder is rubbish)

As sonographer was getting me ready I told her I'd not drunk much and she did warn me I might need an internal - I have had loads before so I wasn't phased - but literally the moment she stated scanning me there baby was. Saw HB immediately too and even got to listen to it. I shed a tear or two.

Was a lovely experience.

Nat, what a lovely scan. Only have to wait until tomorrow for ours, I'd so excited and a tiny bit nervous. Feeling ridiculously sick still though and my boobs are very sore now so hopefully all ok.
