Hmm... The doctor has changed my calculation of my due date. Apparently all NHS doctors assume you have a 28 day cycle, even if you tell them that you don't. Since there is no real way to know until after the 12 week scan, I am going to assume that my original calculation is more accurate. Doctor thinks I'm nearly two weeks further on than I do. :/

A question for Lulu and the other ladies that have been given different dates by your Dr's (vastly different dates) how long are your cycles?

I know they date you on a 28 day cycle [mine is 29 so I pretty much there anyway] but a difference of 2 weeks is a LOT?

I've just been to the toilet and wiped and had a lot of creamy white discharge which was tinged with brown. I think I have some light cramping too. Should u contact a &e?

Nat since I had Freddie my cycles are 36 days! That's quite a difference! Although this cycle I know I ovulated later than usual, so it would have been a 38/39 day cycle which makes their calculation 9th jan and mine 19th! It's crazy and is annoying me a bit hah! X

Mine is about 7 weeks out if you use lmp. I think I ovulated about cd 70. My doctor knows about this and this is why I've got an early scan tomorrow (hoping to be between 5-7 weeks). I don't have regular cycles though, sometimes I am fairly normal and have a few 29/30 day cycles in a row, then it goes mad and has gone to 100+ in the past.

I would say keep an eye for now, if you get more significant bleeding/pain contact GP (or EPU if your local one accepts self-referrals).

I was having irregular cycles too. By my calculations i'm due the 19th but I think the doctor will put me att the 10th. I'm trying not to get too worked up by it but I know it's going to totally annoy me. I'm going to stick to my own dates because I was using OPKs so am pretty sure within a day or two. The dating scan should put it right but they can be up to 5 days out which is quite a lot considering that where I live they routinely induce at 41 weeks. Probably it will never be an issue anyway but I'm already getting mentally prepaired to stand my ground .
