James and I are home
I have to go back to hospital to collect the last of his medication as it wasn't ready (I also need to get our official discharge notes and stuff)
We've had a nice bath, had our medication [I did it by myself, it is usually a two person job - three if he is really fretful] We've also had some food and milk and I have even got a Bolognese bubbling away on the hob.
James will be on 4 hourly medication, I will have to get up through the night but I don't mind at all.
His Granny is back from holiday soon, she is a nurse and lives round the corner so I have back-up if I am worried about anything.
The nurses that looked after James - especially the amazing Laura and Nicola who did the nights shifts - were the loveliest, kindest ladies I have ever encountered and I have made a new friend... the lady in the bed opposite and I really clicked and don't live too far away from each other so we have some play dates planned..
All I can say is that I never thought my healthy baby boy could become so ill so quickly but thankfully a fast acting GP and some wonderful medical staff have made all the difference...
Thank you to each and every lady that sent kind wishes and now the last thing to say is
Aaron, you gorgeous little man - get yourself better and home too
