It just started...

I have just been thrown out of bed by my stomach. Plenty of dry heaves and water crap later, I feel much better!

Quite scary as when I'm am sick my body throws me to the floor and my stomach gets all the way sucked in- will it hurt the baby?

I have been feeling unwell since last night and was starting to worry that the Cooked prawns I ate had gone off or something- by DH says I would have been sick last night, not 14 hours later!

I know it's good to eat, but the thought of food is not going down well!

What are the chances that my sickness starts the day I have my early scan booked! Lol

I'm the same food just not doing it for me at the minute. It sucks. Just try eating smaller portions more often.

Shootingstar- don't worry your sickness won't harm the baby.
Try not mixing liquids and foods, have them at different times to each other.

So did you just get the early scan dbate today, or did you have your actual scan today?

Early scan today... Confirmed that I am 8 weeks! Apparently my right ovary was the culprit- amazing how they can find that out in he scan. Woman was very happy wig my full bladder. Babes heartbeat is going t a rate of 171 beats a min and all looks good.

I have dating scan in 2 weeks. Little disappointed that my scan is a little early- rather have it when I'm 12 weeks tbh.

yayyy really pleased all was happy and well with baby, lovely moment when you see the heartbeat isn't it.

shame your scan is not later , but not too long till you see the baby again tho X

Yay for the scan and being 8 weeks! SO good to see the heart pumping away! My right ovary was the culprit for me too!

Lovely pic, I havent been given a pic at any of my scans. Really looking forward to the 12 week one where I will most definitely get one.

Sorry you've been feeling so unwell. Hopefully it will subside soon. Picture looks so amazing!! Are you meant to be eating shell-fish though? I've been warned off all shell-fish.... just a thought...

As long as it's kicked through then you can eat shellfish! Just swordfish you can't eat, and you mus not eat too much tuna.
