Thanks for all the lovely replies. I think so many people concentrate on the bad aspects of the birth and love to tell you the negative things yet dont really tell you about the good stuff.

I really hope i can have a water birth (or even a bath would be ok) but i wont be too disheartened if it cant happen. Im fully aware that anything can happen so having a strict birth plan for me isnt really what i want.

Keep up the positive attitude everyone!!
