a note to be kept in the car saying "woman in labour car will be moved as soon as possible"
this will reduce stress if you arrive at the hospital and need to just dump the car on double yellow lines somewhere. Hospital car parking attendents usually turn a blind eye for a while if they see a sign like this so you wont get a ticket.

very good tip^ about the note.

Just don't block in the staff's cars at 8am after a night shift like some mean buggers do to us. Very unsympathetic to labouring peeps after a 14hr night shift

god yeah dont block people in, it gives me a nervous breakdown when people do that cos i do 3 or 4 community visits per day and if Im blocked in Im screwed for the whole day and usually have to cancel some people and rebook them for 3 weeks later, so they have ago at me, urh! Yeah, park on double yellow lines but not in front of other cars!
