I'm clearly not very popular! - Another Update

So ladies i had my appointment and what a waste of time that was

All the questions she asked us were the exact same questions that i went through with the consultant a month ago, except she knew even less.

And she was also really pissed off with me, i think she really wanted to bollock me because i'd got the PCT on her case.

I had "insinuated" that she only contacted me re the missing bloods because i got the PCT involved which apparently wasn't true.

I told her i couldn't care less which made her even more cross...

What difference does it make to me who lost the blood or why it took 3 weeks to contact me about it? All i ever wanted was a actual date for my next appointment instead of being left in the dark about it.

So the next step is to send the information that she just varified to the same consultant that already knows it all who i spoke to a month ago!

Then she says he just needs to send it off to CARE which might take upto a month and that i should contact CARE within about a fortnight.

I told her i had no idea why it should take a month to fax some papers and that i'd be phoning CARE as soon as i got home - she looked like she was going to explode rofl!

She finished up by saying that if i had any more issues to contact her directly but i was CARE's problem now so she doesn't see why i'd have to contact her at all lol!

Sorry it didn't turn out the way you had hoped but good for you for not laying down and taking it, she sounds like a right troll and clearly did not likw being told what to do but then if she is gunna piss you around what does she expect!!!

Hopefully the Care Clinic is a little bit more on the ball and will get things running quicker for you xx

I'm not sure that she didn't give a crap, more like she took it way too personally.

At one point she said "oh you have got this far really quickly" and the first thing that popped into my head was "or you allow everyone else to go through really slowly"

I'm not sure if i've moved forward or not.

Will have to speak to CARE and just prey that they wweren't fobbing me off when they told me it wouldn't take any time at all to get treatment started.

Hey, She is probably just not used to people questioning them and being so assertive about it. I would think most people do as they say and take their word as the complete truth then sit back and wait for them to pull their fingers out. But for her today....Louise B walked into the room.........lol.

She's probably just trying to put you in your place and get over that they are the professionals. But from what you have said before, losing bloods etc, their not very good at being professional!!! And they need to be told!

Sorry you didn't get the answers you wanted today, but hopefully this will take you onto the next stage.

No

I phoned on Tues and the lady wasn't there.

Then i phoned on Wed and she was at lunch so they said i could speak to a different lady who would take notes so i did, but wish i hadn't just because it ended on "If she needs to speak to you about it directly she will phone you back" so now i don't know if i am going to be phoned back or not.

So! I phoned again today and i get the answering machine AGAIN but it wasn't lunch time so now i'm thinking Easter Weekend?

Guess i'm waiting until next Tuesday

I hope so Vicky, i had such high expectations and nothing really happened so now i'm just feeling kind of anti-climatic and very blah iykwim

And while the weather was nice, it's now bordering on much too hot for me to enjoy so i can't even sit in the garden for very long
