HSG update...Ladies with PCOS *please read*

Ohh hun I am so sorry, she sounds like a right old cow bag, you would think that after explaining you have uber long cycles then you should be fine if your only on cd14.

I agree with blondy see if your gp can prescribe you provera or norethisterone to induce a bleed so you can have it done sooner xxx

Thanks Vicky. x

She was telling me how you can get pregnant 72 hours after CD10 and I kept saying I highly doubted that we were pregnant and that the negative test should have been enough.

I will defo ask about the Provera etc.

x x

Its just a load of old pants if you ask me hun!!! Hopefully your GP will be a little bit more understanding of it all xx

Missj, I'm so angry on your behalf! Can't understand why the negative test wouldn't have been enough, seems like she wasn't actually listening to you and following 'procedure' arrrgghhhh! When I went for mine I knew that we could deffo not be pregnant but think that was just from reading up on it and reading other people's threads on here. There was nothing in writing and the private hospital I went to didn't even mention it.

I know how upset you must be right now, I know for a fact I would have burst in to tears if that had happened to me hun, I was so anxious to just get it done same as you. I know we've probably discussed this before but are you taking evening primrose oil? Supposed to help with regulating cycles (think it's made my long cycles a little bit shorter).

Big hugs and fingers crossed you won't have to wait too long xxxxxxxxxx

kudos to you, i would have absolutely flipped and would have had to be escorted of the premises.

Hope so Vicky, my GP has been lovely so far. :) x

Kay - No, not taking anything as I want everything natural for the tests if you know what I mean? I've tried Agnus Castus, only for one cycle and only for about 18 days and it didn't help me but I've been considering trying it again. But I'd rather wait and see what happens with the consultant. x

Itsbabytime - I was trying so hard not to burst into tears but hubby was very good and argued on my behalf but they just wouldn't have it. :( x

Got an appointment with the GP next Friday so hopefully will have something to try in the meantime. x
