Well, just phoned the clinic and it doesn't seem that anything can be done to move things along any more quickly because it's all in the hands of the hospital.

The lady at the clinic didn't have much of anything to say, so i guess that i have no choice but to wait indefinately for a phonecall.

It's so depressing

I thought i was ok with everything, but i just feel so glum and deflated all of a sudden.

All i want is a date and i'd be able to relax, wouldn't matter if it was a month away - just something i can stick a note on the calendar for...

Ok, so i just phoned the clinic again.

I'd phoned last week out of impatience and i phoned this week because the hospital said to leave a couple of weeks

The lady was a bit in the dark still about the timescale, she kept asking "so how long did they tell you it would take?" but when she checked my notes she did say that they had received a load of files just yesterday which seemed to be all my medical information so at least there is progress.

So still waiting for the funding but a little bit of progress. She also said that once they had that confirmation that there shouldn't be any wait to get started.

Uuuuuurrrrrgggggghhhh.

Phoned the clinic - "nope, sorry, nothing else through from them - maybe phone back at the end of the week. Have you tried phoning the hospital again?"

Phoned the hospital - "your file is in the doctors room so he is probably going to be working on it very soon".

My file is ALWAYS in his room apparently. Every single time i have phoned for any kind of update she has told me that my file is in his room so she can't tell me anything definate. It's bullshit.

I'm going frickin crazy i swear!

Frickin nightmare, I'd ask to speak to the doctor or go down there, I'd ring up and blag that you want to book a holiday so would appreciate a bit more of an idea of timescales, tell her the last year has been spent waiting for this and waiting for that, tell her is it really an unreasonable request for a woman to want a baby???!!!

Especially now Olive has her BFP (yes, i'm in such shock i'm going to mention it in every single thread at least once) i'm desparate to catch the train to Tri 1.

Do you think that i could phone the clinic up and tell them when my next cd21 is (in 21 days) and that i want to start the treatment then and just hope that funding comes through in time? lol
